Used for airplane travel. I used it on long haul trips. It worked well. The quality was good and kept its shape. It was cool and doesn’t slide around. Compact and easy to carry. The only problem is that it was so good that I forgot it on a plane and had to get a new one, I got a bungee and a carabiner and clipped it to my travel pouch so I wouldn’t forget it. A little inconvenient but worth it. It has held up pretty good so far. Read more
The Comfilife Ergo-Gel airplane seat cushion is fantastic! Unlike the inflatable cushions I tried, this one has consistant support. Or really helps with sciatica pain. I used it on a six hour flight and was not I any pain! Read more
Lightweight and portable. Comfortable. But not quite large enough for this average size woman. Read more
I rarely write reviews for products. We attend high school and college football games a LOT in Wisconsin. I don't like carrying the portable seats that my husband uses. And prefer not to take a blanket because of rain that means you are likely sitting and getting soggy. So I found this one and it is perfect. Yesterday in 33 degree temps on a metal bleachers seat for 4 hours was my final test. I love this for many reasons: it is small and folds and fits perfectly in the 12x12 clear bags we take into stadiums. It stays put on the bench. The cold bench does NOT permeate thru the cushion. And you can plop it onto a rainy bleacher and you stay dry. It is thick and truly offers support and comfort for long sits. This gel cushion is my best purchase of the past few months!!! Read more
OK, this was fantastic and very comfortable but I packed way too much stuff and it was probably the heaviest thing I had and took up a bunch of room. So I left it at the hotel so I didn’t have to drag around this thing. Read more
This mini cushion is basically a folding gel pad similar to my brand name, full size purple cushion which I use daily. I needed something similar but portable for a plane (we all know how uncomfortable economy seats are) to ease my constant tailbone pain. This ComfiLife version improved the comfort of my flight and folded pretty well onto the carry-on bag I stick under my seat, about the size of a large hardcover book. It wasn't too heavy. After the flight I found the cushion very helpful for the hard hotel sofas and desk chairs - a bonus. The overall quality is good for the cost. Read more
The compact foldable size makes it fit for travel. Had multiple problem with the garter straps not holding the product in place, it is not strong enough to keep it in place when storing it on my luggage handle. Most times it opens up and slides of to the side. The highlight of the product was for comfort seating on the “airplane,” which FAILED to do its job. My flight was 14-15hrs long, non-stop. I bought this product in hopes of preventing sore from prolonged sitting. The gel is tough, but i thought the space and flow of air to breath will help with the comfort of prolonged sitting. It made things much worse. I started to feel sore after more than an hour of sitting on the product, shifting my weight did not help. The gels would also shift apart or slide away which ruined the weight distribution and caused further discomfort. Would not ever use this produce again, for short-term travel and especially long. I bought this for long haul work flights where I unfortunately have to fly economy and as everyone knows, the seats are not the most comfortable. Before this, my low back would hurt so bad by the end of my flight- not anymore! It folds in half and has a handy stretchy strap to keep it closed when not in use. I pop it in my personal carry on item and lay it on the seat. I won’t take a long flight without it now. I will note that I’m a petite woman and it fits for me, but for an average sized male, it may be a little small. I’ve used it on many flights so far and it hasn’t lost its shape or freyed or anything, quality is great. Overall great value and worth the extra pound or two to carry with you for the comfort. I think it could also be used for office chairs comfortably although I don’t use it for that. Read more
