The fragrance is a whisper, not a shout.
Unique, light floral fragrance. The biggest benefit is what it does for my skin; leaves it smooth and seals in moisture when applied just after shower or bath, with water still on my skin. If I mess up, and dry off before applying this oil to wet skin, then I combine about a thimbleful of oil and about a thimbleful of water (it will transform to a white ‘milk’), which I then apply to my body for moisturizing without any oily feeling left over, and that lovely light fragrance. I have tried to find, and even to formulate, clean skin oils that would do the same but cost less, and have failed again and again. This is a splurge gift to myself. A little goes a long way. Used this way, I can make this bottle last several months, so it’s a treat and cost per use is not what I’d consider extravagant. (Some might, but I do not pour it in a bathtub any more!!!) Also, I live next to a creek, and I work in my garden/yard a lot. Applying this oil seems to deter mosquitoes from biting me, because it changes my body scent just enough, they don’t seek me out (it was hell in Hawaii as a child. I was mosquito bait!) It has a spa-type fragrance, and smoothes my skin, but leaves my skin delicately scented…just a whisper not a shout. If you want to layer another fragrance, I don’t believe this scent interferes.
