Good for what it is, wish it was a bit bigger. The Good: - I LOVE that it can come apart in two pieces with Velcro. We are currently using it as knee pads on the hard floor of the bathroom since kiddo isn’t quite ready for the tub yet. That way we both get pads. - Surprisingly, the suction cups. We actually store the mat by suctioning it to the outside of the shower doors. Works great. Stays there for at least a week at a time until they need to be used again. The Cromulent: - The pads are fine. I wish they were a bit denser though. Kneeling causes them to almost completely compact down but they still hold their shape after a couple months of use. I’m able to actually kneel without my knees hurting from the hard floor. So that’s a win. I do wish the smaller pad was a bit bigger. - We haven’t actually used the net yet. But we both remarked that it was going to be very handy when he’s ready for the tub. - I debated putting this in The Bad section but I think it’s worth mentioning here. I do have a tiny bit of concern about the longevity of the stitching. I think it will be fine for the few years we would be using it. And for the price, easy to replace. I already have a similar one in a different color for the downstairs bathroom so I picked this up for the upstairs one with the narrower door. It fits perfectly without snagging in the corners and the mesh net holds plenty of the tub toys so they dry out quick after a bath for the kiddos. I grabbed this comfy kneeling bath mat and tub organizer for my sister in law who just had a baby. She had this item on her registry and was thrilled to receive it. Not having kids myself, I’d never seen a product like this but I can definitely see why it’s so useful! I remember giving my baby brother baths when he was little and it was a strain on my knees even as a child ha ha! This set comes with a padded piece to kneel on and a padded organizer that hangs over the side of the tub. It has pockets you can use to hold items like soap, a washcloth or toys. The padding means you can rest your elbows on this while reaching into the tub, while protecting your arms. Makes for a much more comfortable bathing experience for the parents! I'm so happy with this bath kneeler! Bathing my little one with my crunchy sounding and painful knees was never an enjoyable task. I saw this kneeler and elbow rest and jumped on it. I'm so glad I did, it's absolutely awesome. The padding for both the knees and elbows is very thick and hugs your joints like it's made of memory foam. Both sections (knee and elbow) are equally thick and equally comfortable. The knee pad has a nice grippy surface on the underside so that it doesn't slip and slide around too much. The elbow portion has 4 large suction cups, 2 that go on the inside of the tub and 2 on the outside, which all coordinate to hold the pad firmly in place. I placed toys and shampoo in the pockets on the pad, and the suction cups still held true. I love when you get something like this and you can tell the designer has felt the same frustrations as you, and decided to make things better for them and others. It has a very functional, yet simplistic design. There's no wasted space or unnecessary additions, everything on it is useful and serves a purpose. It's super well made, with dense, yet soft foam, solid stitching, and quality materials. It's well priced for the quality and functionality of it. I was excited to find this Baby Bath Kneeler and Elbow Rest Pad Set, and it has worked perfectly for what we needed. I ordered it to make things easier for my wife while she bathes our poodle, and it has made a noticeable difference.
