This heating pad is well made with large coverage and pleasantly surprised by the cushion as well! There are 2 belts, an inner and outer one to adjust and tighten around myself. This isn't really a "massager" though and it just provides some vibration which doesn't do too much for me. What I find odd is that there are more abilities to adjust the heat setting and such via the app and not just from the control/on the pad itself. I wish those 2 were consistent because I honestly don't feel like this needs an app. The buttons are basically right there on me. An app is unnecessary so they should have just made it adjustable from the manual button. Other than that, it does provide good heat and love that it's wireless! Read more

I was tempted to give this fewer stars for the charger. I don't see any reason why this couldn't be charged by a normal USB. I've had far more powerful devices run off normal bricks. Maybe they do it so there's the ability to charge and use it at the same time. But I'm not a fan that I have to keep track of this charger now... but I'll do so begrudgingly because this back massager really is great. I've tried smaller heating pad/massager combos, but they're annoying to have to adjust if you have general back pain and not just pain in a localized area. When they say this heating pad is LARGE, they mean it. When I have back pain, it sometimes radiates to the top of my glutes. With such a large pad, I can have the heat applied to both areas with room to spare. I was expecting the massage from a battery powered device to be pretty wimpy, but this thing puts out some powerful vibrations. For some reason there's an app for this. I have way too many apps, so I'm not downloading another for a massager. Everything works perfectly without it, so I would have been fine if they took the funds they put into developing an app and reduced the overall price. I suppose if you want to fine tune the temperature or use auto off features, the app is necessary. But the amount of people that are going to use that functionality is probably pretty small. Keep it simple. This thing works, and it doesn't need an app. If it didn't work so well I'd reduce a star for the big block (proprietary?) charger. Read more

I do suffer from a lot of back/lumbar region pain especially during those times of the month so this was an obvious get. It's a really simple design and premise: you just cinch the belt around you with the heating pad side on your back, then cinch the outer belt (there are two belts to adjust) until you feel you are getting the maximum coverage and snugness. There's a little block on the side with the power button, heat button and vibration button. You just press the power button once and the light will come on. Then press through the different heat and vibration settings until you find the settings you want. If you are using the onboard controls there are only 3 settings each, but if you download the included app (QR code is in the manual) then you have up to 10 heating settings, 5 vibration modes, 3 different intensities and the unit can run up to an hour. So far I like this belt but I just feel like it's wrong to call the vibrations "massage." If your muscles are stubborn, a little vibration isn't going to cut it. I get the max therapeutic effect when I receive deep tissue massage so this belt does not quite cut it in that regard. However, because it's vibrating it redirects my focus...like placebo I "feel" like I am getting something out of it but after I take the belt off there is not much difference. For the heat alone I definitely appreciate this device, but if you were looking for something to provide a full massage experience I would recommend just going to a spa/massage place. Read more

The fact that it's cordless is a game changer for me. I simply don't have time to sit around to use a heating pad, and this pad allows me untethered freedom to move around. The massaging aspect of this pad isn't a big deal for me, but it does offer some soothing vibration. The massager is easy to size adjust and has enough extension for larger sizes. The batter life seems good. I was able to use this for over an hour with plenty of power still remaining. It recharged fairly quickly, too. This is a good heating pad if you're someone who doesn't have the luxury of sitting around for a heating session. Read more

It’s been hard trying to find a good use for the Comfytemp Cordless Heating Pad with Massager for Back Pain Relief. Besides the fact that I feel I cannot get it to stay in place unless someone else helps me crank it on to conform to the shape of my torso, I am not finding it to do what it is supposed to do. It seems not ever to get hot enough to warm the areas requiring heat - even if I put it onto the highest setting and only have a T shirt between it and my skin. The little bit of heat or massage I get to feel does not last very long, either. Disappointing. Read more
