I picked this up to make my house the one the grandkids want to go to for holidays and it's working. Grampie has the good ice cream... with divorces and blended families... it gets competitive. This thing showed up in a big wooden crate... very well protected. It makes ice cream pretty fast. It can keep up with a line at desert time at a pretty good sized event. We do have to watch it and let it catch up under heavy use. It's pretty easy to clean. Downsides: it's heavy, it's big, and it's loud.
