The size is averaged out so even though I got the one for a small hand it was still a bit too long below the palm heading into the wrist area. But the thing I do like is it's made of a material that was easy to cut with scissors to make it fit comfortably without shredding on the cut edges. Works great now even though it's slightly thicker than I anticipated. But even that is okay as it provides better thumb support than my softer original one (similar but not identical) that is a thinner material. Would buy again when (if) this new one loses it's mojo. I already have a thumb brace in black, (I wanted one in my skin tone) it turns out it’s exactly the same design, but somehow when it put this one on it felt soooo comfortable! I was so very pleased I had to write a review. Glad I chose this brand! I wanted a beige color brace so it wouldn’t stand out as much - LOL! I think companies need to make a bit more variety in skin tone colors. I’m also considering I need to stick rhinestones on one of these for holiday season. Be festive while protecting that joint! Smaller size fits my hand very well. I am able to use a keyboard and wash dishes wearing the brace-it doesn't restrict enough, but is a good reminder to be careful what I'm doing with that hand. Very light weight, has no itchy velcro closures and stays in place. Read more

I have large wrists and chubby but small hands, so the thumb was too loose. I purchased for thumb muscle pain and unfortunately, due to large size that caters to men sized hand, it didn't work for my small but chubby hand, the wrist fit well, but not enough thumb stability. Read more
Used for thumb joint pain. Good quality. Need to get used to strap between thumb and first finger, but it works very well stabilizing the thumb joint. Well worth the money. Read more
