I bought this mouse earlier today to replace one that had stopped functioning. I wanted a new mouse immediately, so I bought it at a local store. It was the ONLY mouse they had, and I didn't have the time or patience to comparison shop. The good news: it worked perfectly as soon as I plugged it into my desktop PC. The scrolling is smooth, and the buttons and center wheel all work very well. However, there is one major drawback: the lighting on it is much too bright! There are bright glowing lights all around the edges, plus on the top scrolling wheel! I find the excessively bright light irritating, and will probably find it even MORE irritating if I need to use it for several hours. As far as I know, there is no way to turn the lighting off. If the lights were dimmer or if there was a way to turn them off, I would have rated this mouse five stars. Read more
