This is a wall mount dryer-not great for travel, but you could stick it in a suitcase. Anyway, the set up is easy. They give you all you need to mount it on the wall. The dryer itself is lightweight. It has two speeds-high and low. It is set up so even if it is on, when you lace it in the holder it shuts off. As for power, I don't have a lot of hair but I think it is more than enough. Mt wife, she too like it. Note: this is a basic hair dryer-there is no "cool" button as many dryers have. It also does not come with any styling options.
