They reduce noise by about 20dB, which is perfect everything is still clear, just not painfully loud. Music sounds balanced, vocals are crisp, and my ears aren’t ringing afterward. These little ear plugs are the best thing I've purchased in a LONG WHILE. I purchased these because I work in aviation, and sometimes I need these to drown out loud engine noise- an attempt to preserve my hearing over the long term. They are super simple to use. They fit nicely into my ears with the medium tip size that are attached upon opening the package. I love the design of the loops- how they lay flat inside of your ear, and are easy to remove. As I am often sleeping in hotel rooms, I decided to use these when sleeping as well- to drown out some of the background noise. While it will not drown out all noise, I found that I was unable to hear the TV in my room when set to a low volume. I have found that these cancel out much of the street noise outside my window, and the general "white noise" from the a/c unit, as well as any stomping around above me. Consequentially, it allowed me to get a GREAT nights sleep, and even made me feel more relaxed and at ease. The case is tiny and easily hooks onto my purse. They weigh almost nothing, and the case stays closed tightly, so they won't get lost. This is something I didn't realize would be a game changer in my life. Absolutely love them. Also, this comes with 2 sets of ear plugs- so you can keep both OR share with a friend! It comes with multiple tip sizes so you can customize the fit of the plug. Way better than loops (and half the price)!!! I had 2 pairs of loops and lost a pair. However, the issue I had with loops is that I felt as if I couldn’t hear anything that prevented me from participating in a loud environment. Loops were also too big on the outside to fit nicely in my ear and were painful at times. On the other hand, these are perfect because I can hear everyone speaking, it just reduces the background loud noise. They also fit perfectly in my ears, they are very discrete which is perfect for me. The case is also very durable and sturdy, it may be tough to open at times but at least I know they’re secure. If you have difficulty with fine motor skills or opening items I suggest getting another case. Other than that these are perfect for my sensory needs. I wish it came with an extra case for the second pair but it’s okay because these are great. Read more

Not bad, they're decent at blocking noise but I may need a bit more for upstair neighbors that insist on jogging all day. I can still listen to TV, music, or my partner while blocking out less desired noise. I've worn them to the store and they're quite hidden so I can grocery shop without all the extra stimulation.
