I am replacing one of those flexible vinyl chair mats with this glass mat. The glass mat is 100x better and well worth the money. This product is probably 1/4 the price of those advertised on TV. Be sure not to buy the thinnest one though. Remember you were going to be walking and sitting on this thing, so get the medium thickness at least. Read more

Arrived in one piece! This is so much classier than a plastic mat and doesn't allow grit to get under it that will scratch the new wood floor. You do have to be a little careful about rolling off to the side if you use it the long way, but we have been very impressed with this product Read more
I bought this to cover a deteriorating vinyl floor. I ordered the 46x55 inch size, which is actually 45+ 3/8 inches by 54+ 3/4 inches. The 4 corners are rounded, with approximately 1.25 inch or 3 centimeter radius. I don't have a micrometer, so I'm estimating the thickness (described as 0.2 inches) as 3/16 of an inch or perhaps 5/32. I have not tripped over the edge as I walk onto the mat, so that's good. I mention all these dimensions because you may, as I do, have specific size constraints, such as fitting between table legs. My assistant and I carried the boxed chair mat into the office, removed the packing material (including a layer of styrofoam on either side) and maneuvered the glass mat into position while holding it by opposing edges. The glass did not crack as we did so. I have been using my rolling chair on the mat for a few days now and it has not cracked. The glass is clear, as one would expect, and glossy, so take the time to clean the floor before you put the mat on it. The edges are slightly rounded, not sharp. No complaints so far. Read more
We got all new flooring in our house, and a Supervisor wo was inspecting the work told me I'd need something like this in my office. Lots of choices, and lots of much higher priced glass floor mats. I decided on this as it was the right size, delivery was quick, and the price was acceptable. I love it...so far. I'm just worried it's going to break like some others posted. My mat shattered after 3 years of use. Beware in writing a review for at least 3 years after purchase. It does shatter in many pieces needing a shop vacuum to vacuum it up. I wish there was a warranty to cover this, I will definitely not purchase another one from this vendor Read more
What a pleasant surprise this desk chair base is super strong and works perfect on my office low pile carpet. Super smooth and slick, the casters on my office chair glide smoothly over the surface. It was a bear to remove the packaging material from the product, but it arrived in perfect unscathed condition. Highly recommended great product at the price point. Read more
