I tried a couple of different batteries and they just didn’t deliver or fit right. These work really good. They last a good amount of time. Now the controller battery cover does not fit with the battery pack. Here is the big but, it fits flush. It has a great hand feel with the rechargeable pack. Was looking to buy an aftermarket battery charger because we were going through too many disposable batteries, and the rechargeable ones we have need to be used for other household things, not just the box controllers >< The price on this one is comparable to other aftermarket batteries/charging systems. I like that it's not a rechargable unit for the controller because I like to just swap out the batteries and play, not have to put the controller on the base just to get the batteries juiced up. Also, we already have a controller stand so didn't need to double up on anything. Just needed the batteries -- and this came with some extra added benefits :) It comes with 4 sets of batteries, so you always have at least a couple on standby, which is great for when we have multiple controllers being used at once. They are also battery packs, so no need to worry about lose batteries rolling anywhere. You just swap out the whole pack. It's also clearly listed what console system controllers it's compatible with: One/S/X. The light indicators are helpful and straight forward -- red = charging, green = charged. Each unit has it's own color notification, so you will know which ones are ready and which are not. You also have the option of turning off the standby lighting if you want with the puch of a button. It's a USB connection, so might even be able to plug it directly into the console to keep everything together nd save on a little space. We haven't tried it yet, but might be an option if you are tight on outlets. All units charge up pretty fast and have had no connectivity or power issues when using with both One/S model controllers. Will update if there is a noticeable decline in charge hold or if the charging unit starts acting up, but in the meantime, I would recommend, especially when comparing to price point of other aftermarket models.
