After a few chairs we finally found one to work in a corner with limited space. The sofa bed chair is great and fits our needs. Already had a few guests sleep on it with no complaints. It does need to be moved to fold and unfold to bed position. It is soft but not extremely squishy. Looks great. sturdy for larger people. minimal assembly required. There are many options out there. Love it. I'm in a studio, so am sleeping on it, with an added Japanese floor futon on top. I roll the futon up in the morning, pad, sheets and all, and stick that in a closet. Voila! After extensive research, I settled with this product despite some apprehension due to the limited number of reviews. Upon receiving and assembling the item, it proved satisfactory on all accounts and accurately reflected the product description. The assembly process is highly convenient, allowing for quick transformation based on the need. The metal frame is smooth and solid and fully supports the function of each individual position. The included pillow is a nice addition and matches the color of the mattress. Having purchased this as a replacement bed, it has proven to be a perfectly sufficient substitute. The mattress itself is somewhat hard initially but is made of good materials that acts the same as memory foam to provide good support. If you're older or have back problems, I would recommend a second, small mattress for the top but otherwise it looks and feels good. Regardless of its position, it is a compact and highly convenient alternative to a full metal or wooden framed bed due to the amount of space it saves. Would highly recommend this quality product.
