value felt a little off at 36, but I love these: comfy, stretchy waste, true to size, nailed it

Lonni WMarch 6, 2026

At $36 when I picked these up, I thought that was a below average value for what these are. Around $30 would have been the average value I'm used to seeing this style of dress pants at. I wear slacks and ties daily and am always adding to and updating my collection, so I'm paying attention. For me, this was a 2.5/5 in value at 36, i.e. below average 2/5 to average 3/5 in value. That said, I have about 20 COOFANDY items in my wardrobe. Most of these are their vests. I wear a vest daily and these folks have done those right. So I've bought several from them. But I've also picked up other slacks and such from their offerings. With regard to these slacks, they are 92%Polyester and 8%Spandex. Now, this is a blend I like, but it's not for everyone. Some folks really want more cotton in their dress apparel. I like lower maintenance, and a poly/spandex combo typically is a no iron/ wrinkle free style that I can approve of. It also feels comfortable, stretches, and is typically lighter than cotton. If you read online it'll say cotton is cooler, but in actual feel, cotton can feel heavier and by extension hotter while poly feels lighter and cooler - the real challenge comes when you start getting more active and are building up heat inside the garment. A lot of activewear is poly/spandex or a tri blend because it will hold heat but shed sweat. I digress a little but that's to say that cotton and poly can't completely be judged on the heat element in my opinion, it's more about the fit and feel. If you're active, poly can feel nicer - I.e., I have to walk around a lot in my job verses sitting at a desk all day. Let me hit fit, too, because frankly that's the #1 consideration in considering ordering online period. No one wants to have to return it. So how did these do? I typically wear a 34/32 at 5'11 and 185lbs. These fit exactly as I would expect them too, maybe even better so in the waste. These have a lot of give and the wasteband is designed to be forgiving. Most mens slacks have moved this direction with elastic bands or some other design in them. Here, the 34 fit and doesn't fall down. But it's a comfy fit, not a constriction fit. And it has give. I'm prone to go between 180 (when I'm watching my weight) and 190 (holidays, some over eating) and this style absolutely gives me that comfort to flex 10lbs. That's a huge value in my mind. So fit here is really good. Thus, I'm going to call these pants a solid 5/5 in quality. I think they nailed it. That said, I was excited these came up to test out and review. Again, I think we'll see a better value than I saw originally, but my review will use that value. So at a 2.5 in value and 5/5 in quality, these average to a 3.5/5 for me. They'll get the 4 stars. And note that my main knock here was just value. So if you set that aside and are fine with anything from 25-40 in slacks, and only look at quality, these are a 5/5. Frankly, I'm not getting rid of them. And I'll likely order more. I think they're solid. Read more

Pants that impressed

MusicoManFebruary 27, 2026

I have to wear professional clothing in my work, and my favorite brand isn’t quite what it used to be (though still very good), so I decided to try something different. These pants came to me quickly, in a sturdy bag that kept them safe. The first impression was a slight difference in fabric texture, I wasn’t sure I liked it at first, but it was in reality just not the same thing I’ve been wearing for years, and it’s actually very comfortable to the touch. The tags were also minimal, which I appreciate, with a single threaded tag that came off easily. I appreciate the minimal approach to packaging. The pants have a slightly heavier weight to the fabric than I'm used to, no heavy per se, and I would call these better suited to colder weather than what I’ve been wearing, so that’s another plus where I live. Wearing them at work I didn’t feel hot or uncomfortable in any way, and in fact, they vanished from my consciousness just like any other good pair of pants would. There were no distractions or strange sensations. I’d call that the best case trouser scenario. The construction is sturdy without being rough, and they look as refined as the regular brand I’ve been using with a very faint sheen in the right light that is not flashy or tacky. The belt loops are firm and roomy enough for all my different belts. The pockets are not quite as deep as I prefer, but well within the range for usability and likely just another case of what I am used to versus a slightly different design. In terms of fit, these fit exactly as my other pants do with the same size marked -- exactly. Since my normal wear is a higher profile brand that’s been around for many years, I’m very pleased to find that these fit the same, and I will not hesitate to order the right size and know it will fit well from this brand. The cut is comfortable and as expected for the style I ordered. I also noted the seams look well made, and the hem on the legs looks great. Wearing them did not result in unsightly wrinkles, nor was there any issue with static though it’s very dry right now. Objects in my pockets felt fine, and the pockets seemed at least as sturdy as what I’m used to. The only slightly negative experience I had is that they didn’t feel quite as “mobile” in the seat and legs as my usual pants when bending and squatting during the day, but this is also a slightly more conservative cut than I usually wear, so I don’t think it’s any fault of the pants. All and all I’m impressed. These are a much better value than what I normally buy, and they look like the same pants to anybody else when I’m wearing them. My goal with work clothes is to not have to think about them, and these fit that desire as well as any clothing I have. For the value, fit, correct sizing, and sturdy construction, this is a full five stars. 5/5 stars, will buy more. Read more

Creme is not White!

DQMarch 16, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Bought for my husband who is almost 5'10" and weighs about 165 lbs. Ordered a 34/30. Fit was perfect and he loved it. However, its an all white event and these pants definitely clash with my dress. We kept the pants because they fit well, but will have to get something else. Read more
