I picked this set up for a costume I am working on and ended up really liking it. The fabric feels soft and smooth on the skin, and the sizing is just right. It has a lot of stretch, so it fits snug without feeling tight or uncomfortable. If I had to nitpick, I wish the material was just a little thicker. It is breathable and great for warm weather, but in colder conditions it might not give enough insulation on its own. That said, it works great for layering or as a lightweight cover. These balaclavas are as expected. I initially wanted the traditional, all-one-piece style of these for getting my helmet on/off. However, it the time it took for these to arrive, I bought a new helmet, and I wound up with a modular, so I actually don’t want my lower face/mouth covered when I have the jaw up on it. No fault of the item, I just wish I needed these more now because they’re nice and soft. The seams are a bit bulky, and you can only comfortably pull these down to below your nose, but you can uncomfortably access your mouth if you have to take a quick drink or something like that.
