I go through so many pairs of gloves while working in the yard. These hold up really well, fit great, are easy to throw on and off, and keep my hands protected from scratches and grime. Touchscreen capability is so-so. The rubber does wear out eventually, and they do get soaked when working in wet conditions, so I tend to keep a few pairs around the house just in case. Read more
Note my review pertains to the red and black (brown-rimmed) gloves only. The other versions of these gloves have an inferior grip material. These are my favorite weight lifting gloves. They provide minimal protection for callouses, but I prefer that. It allows your hand strength to grow while improving skin-to-metal traction. As an example, it’s significantly easier to do pull-ups or shrugs with a straight metal bar with these gloves, as it prevents the bar from sliding past your knuckles. I’ve tested dozens of other brands and types, and this red/black duo is the best I’ve found. I’ve been using the same red pair for months now and have seen no wear. They’re a thin material but again, I prefer that. Other lifting gloves have too much padding or worsen traction. The material is also heat-resistant, meaning I can leave the gloves in my car without the sun turning the palms to goo. While appearance is probably the least important factor these gloves, they do look cool. They’re also easy to swap on, which is nice, since I usually take them off between sets. 10/10 best lifting gloves on the planet. Read more
I've so far only worn one pair for only a few hours, and mostly using garden tools, but so far I couldn't be happier. These are comfortable, fit well, and seem to be holding up. I think I paid $18 for six pair and frankly I expected junk, but these are every bit as good as gloves I've paid $10-15 per pair for. Now I haven't tried to pick up or pull out of the ground anything with thorns so I don't know how they'd stand up to that. (Hopefully I'll never have to test that.) Gloves usually are too big for me... probably because for some reason I think I'm a large...so this medium size fits perfectly. I only gave this item four stars just because I've used them for so short of time and I didn't want to be too positive too soon, but as of now they are worth five stars and my full recommendation. Bought these for my 85 yr old father. You can't beat the price and they are very decent quality. He loves them. I was tired of him buying those crappy ones at the dollar store that do not last. They are thorn resistant not thorn proof but it depends on what your working with. Very comfortable. As far as if they were touchscreen or not wasn't any issue. Great deal for the money. I bought XL 2 pair pack. Read more
