I put this car mount in my daily driver for work runs around Chicago and it has been solid on potholes and speed bumps, which tells me the suction lock and magnets are doing their job. The head snaps to my iPhone in a MagSafe case with a firm click, the 360 swivel lets me flip from maps to music without fumbling, and the arm folds down when I park so it does not clutter the dash. The size is compact enough that it sits low on the windshield without blocking my view, the black color blends in with the interior, and the look is clean so it does not scream accessory. Durability seems good so far since the cup has not budged in heat or a cold morning, though I do wipe the glass and the gel pad before sticking it to keep the seal tight. Functionally it beats my old vent mount because the phone stays put even when the heater is blasting, and the included metal ring means I can use it with an older phone if I need to. For the price the value makes sense because I get a sturdy mount that holds my phone steady and keeps the cabin looking tidy. Read more

I prefer this type of mount to the vent type of mount, which my iPhone 13 in it's military grade case is too heavy for and falls off when I got around corners. This holds tightly to a smooth surface (doesn't attach on my vinyl dash, unfortunately), such as the media dispaly or the windshield. The only improvement I'd suggest is adding a charging cable to it. Read more

I'm actually pretty excited about this product. Most of the phone mounts I've had in the past all have the sticky layer on the suction cup and the lever to pull the suction cup. Beyond that you have to pull on the suction cup tab a little bit and push the level the opposite direction to get a good seal. This one you just put on a flat surface, turn the dial, and you're done. It's got the magsafe magnet so works with all newer iPhones and in my case will be for an Android with a magsafe case. As you can see in the pictures, it holds well on my window, demonstrated with a power pack that weighs more than my phone. I even pulled on it downward and yanked on it to try and pull it off the window, it held strong. As you can see, they provide two sets of accessories. Two sets of metal rings in case you don't have magsafe on your phone or phone case. You can't see the ring placement cutout but it's included with the rings to help you align the ring and make sure it's centered on your phone. They also provide two adhesive pads in case you don't have a smooth surface to mount the phone holder on. So you put the adhesive pad wherever you'd like to mount the phone holder and then put the suction cup on the adhesive pad. However it's not the fact that they provide the accessories, as most usually do now, but the fact that they have you two sets so you can move it between two locations is great. I can't say enough about how strong of a hold this phone holder has. I ordered it to have a place to put my phone while I'm getting ready in the morning. I have so much on the top of my vanity that I don't have room for a phone. I listen to podcasts while getting ready, so I needed something that keeps my phone handy to pause, fast forward, etc. while listening. I suctioned the holder onto my mirror and was amazed at how well it held. I experimented and kept it on the mirror overnight and it didn't budge. I've owned other brands of these types of holders and after a couple hours the holders are no longer suctioned. It is super easy to install. I didn't even clean the mirror. I simply put the suction cup up to the mirror and turned the tightening knob. It grabbed the first time. No multiple tries like other brands. They provide magnets for the backs of phones that aren't currently mag safe. I already had installed a magnet to my Samsung phone and it worked great with this holder. It's also a strong hold once the phone is on it. There are multiple angles you can move the arm of the holder, so you can look at your phone at any angle. I can't comment on how this holds on a non-smooth surface (such as a dashboard) since I'm using it on a mirror. They do provide everything you need along with clear instructions on how to install it on a non-smooth surface. Based upon my experience with the product, I would say it would work just fine using their materials. It is made of great quality materials and feels very sturdy and durable. Small size, amazing solid hold on the suction cup! I did not test it with the sticky pad, because Iโm using it directly on a glass surface, so the sticky pad is not needed. I am impressed with how many different positions this phone holder can be put in. My car is small, so itโs very helpful to be able to bend and turn the phone holder. And it stays strong wherever I put it. The one thing that did pose a challenge for me in my compact car was finding a surface on the face of the dash thatโs large enough for this suction cup (about 2.5โ in diameter). I prefer not having anything on top of my dashboard, so Iโm left with the windshield. This works, but again, with a compact car, almost anything in the windshield can end up being a blind spot. I did end up finding a space near the top of the windshield that works okay. All in all, while this particular phone holder isnโt the best fit for my car, I highly recommend it for strength, staying in place, and being able to bend it to different angles for my preferences!
