Battery doesn't last long, but not a issue, because it can operate with the cord plugged in. So, not a total deter...Plus, you can always buy a bigger, or more powerful battery that will work just fine..I actually have a 24,000 may battery pack, no bigger than the palm of most people hands, and it works just fine...it seems very durable as well. I think it will last, I hope...very easy to use and the length is ok for most, but if you are pot-belly, a little challenging...bought this for a quick back massage. Warms up quickly, and helps reduce pain. Fits everybody in the house, from 25" to ~40" waist measurements. It shuts off every 45 minutes as stated in description, which is kind of annoying when you're used to your wired heating pads shutting off every two hours. I don't like the vibrations, but they range from moderate to intense. The lights are color coded for intensity in heat, blue low, red medium, green high.
