Pros: Exactly as described. It heats, massages via vibration, and can be combined for both or one or the other at will. The touch screen is sleek and responsive and I feel relief when wearing this. Because of the ease of use, I have used it on my lumbar, neck, shoulders, and belly. The velcro is great, the width is nice, especially with the extra length inclusion for larger bodies, and the knowledge of what temperature it can be set to by degrees is great. Finally, the locking design so that the touch screen isn't accidentally bumped when not intended to is GREAT. I can tell this was tested thoroughly and I appreciate the good design. Cons: The vibrations are loud, and if you are propped against a wooden chair or the wall, this will sound iffy and bassy, which doesn't go well for my and my roommates' sensitive ears. Overall, I love it, use it lots, and so do my friends and fam when they are feeling achy or cold. Highly recommended. Read more
AGWIM Cordless Massage Heating Pad for Back Lumbar Abdomen, 103 Red Light Beads, 3 Heat & 3 Vibration Modes, 5000mAh Battery, Waist Heated Brace Belt for Period Cramps. I ordered this hoping for some relief for my lower back lumbar area. This arrived mostly charged, about 75%, I plugged it in with the included USB A / USB C cord for about an hour to fully charge. I read the instruction manual, and attempted to try the features. The power button is on the side at one end of the control module, hold it down for a couple of seconds and it beeps on. From there, I got nothin'. The touch controls on the panel for vibration and heat had no response. I read and re-read the small manual. There is no explanation. Touching those controls should activate and increase/decrease the settings. So, frustrating. I then read the "directions" on the Amazon product listing page, and it says it cannot be used while plugged in and charging. I wish they had thought to include this minor detail in the instruction manual. Ok, so moving on.. Once charged, and UNPLUGGED, it works easily. The belt fastens with Velcro-type fastener. Also includes some extender belts for bigger size waists. I have a 36 inch waist and it fits me just fine without the extensions. Touch the vibration button to increase or decrease the vibration level. Touch the heat button to increase or decrease the heat level. It can display temps in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Once set, you can lock the settings so you do not accidentally bump them and change them in use. This is so soothing for my sore lower back. I like the heat alone, but the vibration is helpful too. It can heat up to 149 degrees, which is the setting I use. It uses infrared heat LEDs. It has a control panel to set the intensity of the heat and vibration. It is flat enough when worn to lay stretched out flat, although the vibration motors are small hard raised bumps, if you are lying on a bed or soft surface they are not a problem. I like it for occasional lumbar back pain relief. I have also wrapped it around my sore knee. And, I may try laying on it for my sore neck. It does seem to use up the battery pretty quickly, but gives about an hour of heat. Less time if you are vibrating with heat. Just charge it up when done and it is ready for the next time. I received this the same day my husband started to experience extreme lower back pain, that he suspects was due to a kidney stone. I offered this device for him to test, and he liked its effects so much that he barely took it off for three days until the pain went away. He didn't use the vibration, but the heat was a lifesaver for him. This has red lights, I assume for led therapy, but on the highest heat setting it probably must not be used next to the skin. He wore it over a thin weight T-shirt. My husband has a somewhat girthy belly, size 36 waist, and it probably wouldn't fit much larger bellies without the extension strap. I'm not sure how big a person that would fit... Maybe more extensions could be ordered from the seller? Anyway, I'm very pleased how this helped my husband and I'm looking forward to trying out next time I'm experiencing back or belly pain. Read more
This massager provides a combination of heat and vibration. It comes wrapped in a belt that is designed to go around your waist. I tried it on both my back lumbar area and my stomach. At the highest setting of 149 degrees Fahrenheit, it was getting pretty warm. I would say just about the warmest you would want this to be before it became unsafe to use. The manual warns you not to apply it directly to your skin but I did not find it a problem to do so. When I placed it over my t-shirt I didn’t find that it got warm enough. The massage is really just simple vibration with three levels of intensity and some pulsing. It does not provide any kneading or rolling action like some other massagers. The pictures on the product description show it being placed in other areas like your neck and shoulder. I did not find it practical to use it in those areas because there is no place to secure the belt. The unit has a lock feature which you enable with a short press of the power button. This is quite useful. Before I discovered it I was frequently touching the control panel and unintentionally changing the settings. If you need some warm heat therapy with vibration in either your lower back or your stomach, this is a nice device. I do think it’s a bit limited given that it’s only really useful in those two areas so I would probably only buy this if I regularly found the need to apply heat and vibration to either my neck or abdomen. It comes well packaged and includes a USB-A to USB-C cable. No charger is included but any USB-A charging dock will work fine. I was wearing it the entire time I wrote this review, and now that I’m done, I’m finding that I don’t really want to take it off. I don’t have any pain in my lumbar area but it’s actually quite nice to have some heat and vibration back there! Read more
