I bought the 16-piece set to mount some rear height speakers that weight about 5.5 pounds each. I really only needed four brackets, but I could get 16 of them for only twice the price, and I knew that I might end up wanting more than four. I think that they are extremely sturdy and well made, and I'm very happy with them. They come with good drywall anchors (not for heavy loads, but for the loads these brackets are designed for) and good screws, and each bracket is individually covered in a plastic sleeve (that is easy to slide off) to protect the finish. I used two brackets per speaker, and they have shown no signs of failure at all. When using with speakers, you'll want to make sure that the speaker wires are strain relieved and not trying to pull the speakers off of these because the speakers just sit on them (unless you attach them with something like Command strips or something else). That said, they are a nice and inexpensive solution to mounting speakers on the wall, and they are very well made and sturdy. Read more
I have floating shelves which over time became loose and started to tilt downwards, causing all my stuff on them too slide off. I got these brackets to hopefully straighten these shelves and it worked pretty well. They hold a decent amount of weight and are pretty simple to install (i recommend you have someone help you though) the only part that was tricky was the smaller screws.
