First off, this is made of cheap plastic and held together by luck. As for use: about half of the juice gets thrown into the waste hopper with the pulp/skin/etc and the majority of the other half leaks through the lower splash guard, with only a trickle making it to the tiny pitcher that it comes with. I was of course excited to test out my new juicer and tried with the following: Carrots, Tomatoes, Beets, Cranberries, Cucumber (this worked almost as well as the apple), Lemons (almost as bad as the oranges), Oranges (DON'T even try it, just throw the oranges away to save time), and Apples (which worked the best, almost as good as a blender juicer attachment). Note: yes I did clean out the juicer after each type, and also cleaning is a pain in the butt. Moral of the story is: you get what you pay for. I would only recommend this to people who want to make a bunch of apple or cucumber juice on the cheap, which is how it got it's 2nd star from me. Read more
