Bought size M for my 7 yr old who wears a size 1.5 shoe. She always pushes the school knee socks down to her ankles and the little ankle socks do not look as nice. I think she just turned 7 so having to pull socks up to your knee multiple times during the day is a pain. I purchased these as a happy medium. The material is soft and a medium thickness. These will cushion the feet without being g overly thick or hot. They fit according to size. The styles are so sweet. Perfect for school uniforms. I bought three packs of white and black.
