These are high-quality, breathable cotton briefs that stay in place all day. However, if you are buying these for abdominal surgery recovery, be aware they are not "ultra" high-waisted. There was a bit of hesitation to love these undies because there was not 100 percent cotton on crotch. Actually, the panties feel like wearing nothing. There is no uncomfortable riding on waistband or crotch, to the perfect "nothing" feel. Wash first, I ordered a large for medium hips, washing in warm water gave perfect fit. They are of good quality, thick fabric. They had a weird texture coming straight out of the pack, but it went away after I washed them.
