I was a little apprehensive about this purchase. I read the reviews and decided to give this a try. 1. It looked a little cheap in the box. It is plastic. 2. But it looks nice when it is assembled. It is low, but not too low and not too high that it is dominating in the landscape. 3. The light quality is TRUE. I tested this on the north side of my house, and the light was on at 4:30am. They are very neat looking and easy to install. The batteries are pre-charged, so they came on the first evening I put them out. Since then they have worked every night despite it being winter and often overcast. The lights are on dimly all the time, but get brighter when they detect movement.. This lights are amazing and it looks very elegant. And modern looking. Love its motion sensor and different shades of lights. But one of them just not working, we tried to change angle and the location to allow different sunlight, but still not working since the day we bought them. All others are working, except that one. The solar panel/battery, light sensor, motion detector and light all work flawlessly and as advertised. The lights are automatically triggered on/off at dusk/dawn by a light sensor. When the lights come on, they are at 10% (dim, but enough light to see our pathway). Once the motion sensor detects movement, the light shines 100% brightness. Note: although there are settings to change the percentage of light brightness, the light is always on once the light sensor detects darkness and remain on until the light sensor turns them off. There are numerous brightness settings, including turning the lights off completely (which requires you to manually turn the light sensor back on for the lights to be operational again). For the price, these lights are a bargain. They are a solid, rigid plastic material and look like metal once installed. The lights are easy to assemble; when installing, I would suggest setting the brightness levels in a dark room or outside in the late evening so that the light sensor is working and you can easily adjust/test the different brightness levels. I have had the lights for a month and so far, I am very happy with the product. Read more

Ten hours of bright sunlight equates to two (2) hours of warm light. Not worth the money. They function alright, just not long enough. Basically worthless, and very disappointing. Don't waste your money. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Read more
