The media could not be loaded. A Specialized Precision Tool The most important thing to know is that this is a precision screwdriver designed for small electronics, laptops, and handheld devices. The product description isn't entirely clear on this, but it does not use full-sized 1/4" bits. It uses 5/32" (4mm) mini-bits. The driver itself is about 7 inches long and roughly the size of a thick marker, offering the delicate control you need for small-scale work. Charging & Versatile Docking The dock is a standout feature for organization. The driver charges by sitting nose-down into the base, and you don’t even have to remove the bit for it to fit (unless you’re using the extension). Dual Charging: It’s very versatile. You can use the dock for a clean desktop setup or plug a USB-C cable directly into the driver if you’re working away from your bench. The "Organized" Bench: The base holds the driver, 20 bits, and the extension. It also includes two small built-in bins for holding those tiny screws that usually roll off the table—a huge plus for anyone who’s ever lost a laptop screw in the carpet. Performance & Control Torque Adjustment: It features a 3-stage switch. In my experience, this adjusts the torque rather than the speed. This is exactly what you want for electronics; it lets you dial in the power so you don't strip out plastic housings or over-tighten delicate threads. Visibility & Grip: The 4 LED lights at the tip provide shadow-free lighting, which is vital when you're working inside a dark PC case. The textured rubber grip on the base of the handle makes it easy to maintain control and perform fine adjustments. Battery: It includes a clear battery level indicator so you always know how much "juice" is left before you start a teardown. Overall This is an exceptional, premium tool for its intended purpose. It bridges the gap between a manual precision driver and a full-sized power drill. If you do any tech repair, hobby work, or small appliance maintenance, this kit is a massive time-saver. Read more
This is a great electric screwdriver. I’ve had a few over the years but this is the first I’ve had meant for the precision or electronics repair screws. This is intended for very small and precision screws not really for repairing your dish washer. For the small screws this is great, it’s easy to use and has more than enough power for these little screws. The adjustable torque setting is also really nice for making sure you are not over driving these small screws. The stand is great for the table top or work bench, gives a home for the great assortment of bits and a place to keep the screws you are working with. I really like that it’s USB-C so you can charge it with your regular USB-C cable and charger brick or you can charge it via the stand as you store it. This a really handy to make sure this is always charged and ready to go when you need it because its always charging when you are storing it. For its intended use the size is perfect and the weight is great. You won’t get tired of holding it over a long project and the extra extension will help you get it into the tighter spaces you may be working on inside of a device. It feels substantial and durable without being a burden to use over time or make your hand sore. Overall this is a great screwdriver for the precision use case and a great value for the money. I got this for my young adult son who lives with me. He's been taking things apart and putting them back together since he was a little boy. Since middle school he's been fixing electronics and instruments and he's very good at it. This Craftsman cordless electric screwdriver has already been super handy in the short time we've owned it. The size is nice and compact and easily fits on his desk. The variety of bits is very impressive. I think Craftsman covered all of them. It's got the perfect amount of power and the cordless screwdriver is very durable. I loved the thoughtful touches like the magnetic tray and the LED light is super helpful. He's already used it to take apart a gaming console and worked on his guitar. This will get a lot of use in our household. My son is always working on his mountain bike and longboards and spring finally arrived so this will be in the shed getting plenty of use over the next few weeks. He has to tune everything up after sitting all winter. My Dad's a "tool guy" and he was over when my son was using it. He was very impressed and now I know exactly what to get him for Father's Day. The Craftsman quality is evident and the price is fair for such a versatile tool. I will be buying another one for my Dad who is super hard to shop for. It's a great tool to have around any household and would make a wonderful gift. Five stars! Read more
