This is a really well thought out tool bag. Both sides zip open to reveal more individual storage sleeves. The inside is lined with various sized storage sleeves and has a velco removable divider if desired. I personally needed a large bag for a digital torque wrench measuring over 20" in storage case plus all the hand tools for mechanical maintenance. Handy, sturdy, heavy duty. Great value for the price! Read more

I've been researching new tool bags for months since my husky rolling 18" handle failed to the point of inoperable. This bag came up came up randomly in my google feed after I was convinced I was going for the HT5553 but didn't pull the trigger. I started doing my research on this beauty and bought it 3 days later. After the Husky failed, I went back to my 2008 era, CLC 1539 which is still a frickin stud but just too small for my needs. I love the design of the 3 separate compartments, just not the size of the central storage or the no exterior storage where the level storage straps are. They stretched quickly and were next to worthless and so was that exterior side of the bag. I always used this bag with a folding hand truck and rubber bungee (I'm a tile setter and the tools get heavy quick) and it worked great. If the wheels or handle fail, the bag is still good. Its the reason I can use it 15 years later. In that time I have now had 2 broken Huskies rollers (18" and 22") which were never great especially for organizing. Lack of organizing leads tools left behind on jobs. This tool bag takes all of the strengths of the CLC 1539 and works off them. The side zip down compartments allow you to isolate tools and items you don't want buried at the bottom of typical roller. They both have regular pockets on the interior side of the bag and netting pockets on the exterior side. Laying out tools, wrenches, disposable gloves, glasses, pencils, markers, and a ton of others fit on ONE side compartment of this bag. The opposing zip down side has 2 larger pockets. Taller items that I have to lean go in here. Channel Locks, tin snips, carbide joint scraper. In the netting pockets: 3 way plug, 100 blade pack, Then you get exterior compartments around the whole bag. I keep red and blue chalk lines on the width sides with small refill bottles. Some taller and extraneous items in the exterior pockets: dryline spool, 35' layout tape on the clip, disposable gloves, extra cutoff and diamond wheels large zipper compartment and a couple of open pockets still. I haven't figured out what to put in them as I have so much GD space now. The only complaint of this bag is these extrerior pockets get real tight when the inner compartment is filled. The highlight of this bag is the central storage compartment. It is lined with pockets along the whole perimeter. It also has tool divider (that is also surrounded by pockets) that can be resized through heavy duty velcro and notches in the bottom plastic liner from 50/50 spacing, 75/25 or removed. It's a game changer. In the tile industry every job has metal finishing strips requiring a grinder with a cutoff wheels. I hate switching wheels back and forth from diamond to cutoff, and would rather carry 2, 4.5" Makita grinders. I have the divider moved to the 1/4 position for both grinders. The 3/4 space is where the all the big stuff and dirty smaller tools go. In the interior pockets: 3 chisels, 3 margin trowels, grout brush, wire brush, rubbing stone, and more. Main compartment: Trowels:16" steel flat trowel, 1/8 V notch, 1/4 notch, 3/8 notch, 1/2 notch. Grout float, scoop trowel, 100' tape measure, masonry hammer, 12" rafter square, 16" speed square, 7 pocket tool Pouch, dust brush. I know I'm missing stuff but I'm beat and don't feel like running out to my truck for an inventory. This bag seems to be extremely well built going off my past experiences. The stitching, zippers, grab handles, over the shoulder strap and heavy duty bottom liner all are built for durability. I'm 2 weeks into this bag and really am considering buying a second. I'm 44 with 17+ years to retirement and I think 2 of these bags should get me there. I also don't want the manufacturer realizing how much better this bag is than its peers that are typically $50 more in cost. I'll try to update a couple of months down the line. Read more

Update: Super heavy when loaded to the max... but, I've been using this tote for that last few months and increased my rating to 5 stars (wish 4.5 was available). Bottom line: If you only want one bag that carries a lot... this is your only option... ps... I wish it was a hair larger. This tote is very good but no perfect. A few nitpicks prevented a 5 star rating. I've been using a large open top tote with a metal handle for the last 15 years that I really like. This Craftsman is larger but its zipper closed, so I'm curious to see how I adapt to this tote. Pros: 1. It's large. Can carry a lot and easily exceed the recommended weight. 2. Heavy duty everything (zippers, fabric, etc.) 3. Seems to strike the perfect balance of being big but not too big. Cons: 1. It doesn't have any small pockets (only medium, large, and larger) 2. I wish it had a metal handle and had an open top Note: I saw a negative review that complained it was not 22.5" It is 20" without tools and can reach 22.5" when its full of tools. Overall: recommended, good value but not great Read more

Awesome sturdy tool bag. I have an arrange of 20V power tools and they all fit nicely in the bag. It provides a lot of storage bags to carry tools such ans drill bits, jigsaw blades, driver tools and extra batteries. I am very glad I bought it, I don’t need to carry multiple bags for the different tools and accessories. Read more

This thing is very well constructed! Pockets everywhere, 66lb max load, waterproof floor bottom that barely flexes, pockets everywhere and a removable divider! The shoulder strap is comfortable and also well built! It’s quite large and spacious. If you want a compact unit? This isn’t it. This moves a load of tools. The stackable line is pretty slick! I think the value is great. There are backpacks built like wet paper for this price! Buy one. It’s great! Read more

Absolutely love this bag! I bought it to lug whatever tools I need from my garage to the home for DIY or wherever I need to go! Massive inner pockets let me throw essentially any tool I want in there and the shoulder strap is a must for that reason. If you are putting a lot of tools in this, the shoulder strap makes carrying it easy! The double zipper on the top is great and have had no issues, I love the pull tab to open/close them at the same time. I don't have the rest of the trades tack line, but this bag is so good that I'm thinking of getting the rest of the mobile storage solution! Read more
