Great rehab tape
27 y/o female, 140 lbs. So, I'm not an athlete. I don't do sports, or do anything beyond basic workouts. But I DO walk A LOT. Sometimes 11 miles a day. I've had foot problems for as long as I can remember, my arch collapses when I step I also rotate my right foot a little too much so my toes point inward. As a result I have ankle pain. I've seen a specialist and my podiatrist pretty much just threw insoles at me. I've been working on strengthening my arches and ankle--plus pretty much working on correcting full body function and alignment (correcting uneven hips, figuring out if I have a pelvic tilt, strengthening my back so my shoulders don't hunch forward ect.)-- this tape has been a godsend for what I use it for. I do foot and ankle strengthening exercises and tape up my ankle when I'm at home so my muscles can get the hang of not rotating the wrong way, I usually wear stretchy arch and ankle support sleeves when I'm out and about but if I need more support I wear the tape outside too. The tape sticks to skin enough to start the taping pattern but it's not so strong that it hurts when you take it off. It sticks to itself nicely but sometimes will unstick a little if I didn't lay it correctly or if I'm doing lots of activity. It's nothing that a couple of inches of additional tape or tearing off the loose section can't fix. I can tear it with my hands easily and no scissor is needed. My favorite part about this is how comfortable it is. Oh my goodness. I used to try using the stretchy bandages and they would cut off circulation. This let's the blood keep flowing to my toes, while keeping my ankle stable. The best part is I can wear socks and shoes with it. I have to be a little careful putting the sock on to not bunch up the tape but after it's on I can slip my foot into my sneaker or boot easily. I'm not sure how this would hold up to actual athletes who use it for hand tape when they're boxing or something. But this is a great tape for if you just need to stabilize a body part.
