The photos don’t quite do these pants justice; they’re not navy blue and not quite marine blue. The material is soft, but a little synthetic feeling. The thickness of the fabric is good, more of a mid-weight type of thing, so would be too heavy for summer and not thick enough for winter. Definitely more of a spring/winter type of item that you would wear for the fashion, versus the function of keeping warm. The pants lay nicely and aren’t too wrinkly, but again, the fabric feels somewhat synthetic, so I worry about how much sweating this might cause. I feel like the price point at the time was much too high, but the current sale price is excellent for a nice pair of pants that can be dressed up or dressed down- I can easily wear these to multiple types of events. These capri pants are so comfortable! The fabric is 100% polyester, very lightweight and great for spring or summer weather. They are machine washable but do need to be line dried. In hindsight I wish I would have ordered these in one of the very cute prints they come in, but I chose the blue color and it's a little too bright for me (in the photo I thought the blue color looked a little more muted) I think these would look great on thinner figures, but I didn't love the way they fit on me. These were an absolute hit. My daughter LOVES these pants, and honestly, that’s the highest bar anything can clear. We went out together and she was complimented five separate times — not exaggerating. She has a very specific personal style, and these are completely her vibe: light, flowy, a little hippy, a little artsy, and very confident. They don’t feel “luxury” in the way heavy, premium fabrics do, but that’s not a knock here. The cut and fit are fantastic, the stitching is solid, and the prints and colors are genuinely beautiful. They hang really well, move nicely, and feel perfect for warm weather. Lightweight without feeling flimsy. For reference: my daughter is 12.5, tallish for her age (about 5’5”), and willowy, and the Medium fits her perfectly. I am so in love with these pants. First off, I really like capris. It's hot and humid where I live, and capris allow extra air flow, and they just feel a little more kicky and cute. They are in between casual and dressy, and I love that versatility. With these, the color is just as vibrant and rich in person as it is on screen. It's so bold and beautiful. It's easy to match, as well. All I need is a solid--or mostly solid--colored shirt, and I can go with a T-shirt or a blouse, depending on the vibe I'm looking for. My favorite so far has been an asymmetric black blouse with big, wooden buttons. These fit me true-to-size, and I find the fit flattering. The design on this pair, in particular, draws the eye vertically and is slimming. I feel good in it and joyful in general. I feel these pants are priced well (at the time I ordered them) and offer a good value for the consumer. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not up-to-date on fashion terms, so I'm not sure what a paper bag waist is even supposed to mean, but I love these capris! They do sit higher on my waist, which makes me feel more comfortable than low or mid-waist waistlines. They're very comfortable to wear, and the fit is excellent, hugging you in just the right spots, while not feeling binding. They do stretch as you wear them, but they still hold their shape and support like they should. I bought my normal size, and it fits perfectly. The legs are the perfect length for either flats or heels. The seams are solid and lay flat, which makes the overall look of these capris precisely what I thought it should. Read more
