The BIAVOI Crossbody Anti Theft RFID Blocking Sling Chest Bag is exactly what I wished I had for my last trip! Over the years, I've had to re-train my packing ways, and the big takeaway has been that if my bag is big, I'll put a lot in it, regardless of necessity. The small size is just right to hold the essentials without having to carry too much weight. I generally wear it in front when I'm walking around the city, but I also like that it works to have the bag part on my back if I wanted to. While I can't speak to long term durability, since, at least for now, I'm only using this bag on weekends out and about, the vegan leather is soft and smooth! As for style, it was the patterned strap that originally called me to this item--it reminds me of my old film camera strap, so in addition to all the practical things, the bag also carries some warm nostalgia for me. I went back and forth between wanting the brown, light brown, or the gray and ultimately went for the light brown as a sort of in-between the brown and gray. The color is an easy neutral that goes with my winter coat and will also work with my wardrobe across warmer seasons. I took a lot of close-up pictures because I thought the stitching was done really nicely and neatly which is especially notable given all of the compartments. There's a compartment for everything! The details in this bag are really lovely. I'm never buying another bag without a key strap/hook. And I love the security loop for the main compartment zipper, as well as (of course) the RFID blocking compartment. The only detail I'm not crazy about is the earphone wire hole in the back. I might be the last person to still use wired earphones, so while I do appreciate a bag that seems to be made just for me, I am always concerned about safety and never wear earphones when I'm out, especially walking around the city. So, PSA if you need it, be aware of your surroundings, and don't wear earphones when you're out! But, this hole is by no means a dealbreaker, and I might just advertise it as being useful for charging your phone without having to take it out of your bag (convenient and, for me, less to worry about forgetting if everything is all connected!). This bag exceeded all my expectations by far. It is very well made, the design was well thought out, and looks and feels like it cost more than it is. It is a vegan leather body that is pebbled not smooth that feels very soft and doesn't have that cheap pleather look or feel to it with a guitar like strap that matches the color choice of bag. The strap detaches from the bottom to change for a lefty or righty person. All the seams are well stitched and there are 5 main compartments to the bag with interior pockets as well keeping stuff neat and tidy inside. The inside lining feels like a silky satin like touch fabric and seams all look well stitched inside too. Each compartment was thought out well, 4 have gold accent zippers and 1 has a gold concealed snap. The compartments 1st one is on the backside that would be against your body has a zipper opening, is RFID blocking and has 3 slots for id/credit cards. The RFID blocking gives me piece of mind when traveling. 2nd (main) the largest is a zipper opening and the zipper is a clip at the same time that can be clipped to a small ring on the back side of the bag to prevent unwanted openings. The interior of the compartment has a zipper pouch and 4 mini pockets of different sizes for smaller stuff to stay neat and easy to find. 3rd is a zipper opening and it as well has a interior pocket, a key chain clip and 2 elastic bands for keeping pens or mini brush in place. 4th is a pocket with snap clip for fast easy access- great for lip balm or a compact. The last 5th pocket is a small zipper opening, small pocket great for small stuff coins or receipts that you need secure. Overall it's a small,but mighty little cross body bag.
