This bag is made of quality materials and is very sturdy ! The strap will adjust up to 49 inches and it has an extra padded shoulder strap that moves over the main strap to place in your preferred spot . That will help keep the weight of the bag when packed , stay comfortable on your shoulder . The actual bag is wide on the body (15inches) and feels roomy but not very deep (3inches) . It really is not comfortable to wear as a shoulder bag because it's too wide .Needs to worn as a crossbody . Bag has four pocket compartments . The outer pocket on the flap zips closed and could be used to keep those things like keys or phone . One of the pockets is lined in a plastic for wet items . Another pocket is lined in a soft velvet - like fabric . The main large pocket in the middle , is accessible by flipping up the outer flap or using the zipper on the top of bag . On the back of the bag that would rest on your body it is padded for extra comfort .The zippers and buckles all are quality materials and preform well . Bag is light weight and resists water well . I think the bag should have a longer strap for tall people and a outside pocket for a water bottle . I ordered this for myself, but when my sister saw it, she loved it and said she would get more use out of it (which she will). She loved the crossbody design and the size. She said it was perfect for when she goes biking near her house or near the beach. The ability to wear it on her back (while biking) and at the front (in crowds) was a big plus.
