I couldn't ask for more from a monitor of this price! Honestly, I was not expecting anything this good. I bought this on short notice, as my gaming laptop died unexpectedly all of a sudden, and this was what I picked for the new computer I got. I really couldn't be happier with the visual quality, and as I'd never had a curved monitor before, I now can say I fully understand the appeal. It really is a must for gaming. The media could not be loaded. This monitor is absolutely stunning! The white metal base makes it easy to hide wires, the white edges are modern, and it has minimal bevel. The base is very sturdy, and the monitor itself is lightweight in the best way. I did not have the sticker issue mentioned in some other comments (this was one of the concerns I had when ordering), instea,d it had a full screen protector with a little flag on the right side to allow for easily peeling the entire protector, along with the sticker placed on top. The monitor was pretty much plug-and-play. I did end up making minor adjustments, but for the most part, it was perfect out of the box. I use my monitor for both remote work and gaming, and it has been astounding in both. The colors are vibrant, the curve is amazing, and along with the 34" size you can comfortably have two windows side by side to easily multitask. When it comes to gaming, it is fully immersive and makes games more enjoyable than they had been with my previous dual-monitor setup. My games load up quickly and have no lag; for optimal HZ it is best to use the included display adaptor rather than HDMI, but it works well with an enhanced HDMI cord as well. It has multiple HDMI ports, and display port and a speaker port in the back, which allows you to connect a console in addition to a computer, and you can even adjust settings based on which port you are using. It looks so great in my setup and makes it look so clean and pretty. I included a video showing a close-up of the image and zooming out to show the crisp quality. Bought this monitor for 2 reasons...I wanted a gaming monitor that had a higher refresh rate and was hoping the ability for this monitor to block blue light would cure my foggy head-aching eyeballs. I'm a PC gamer and have been for years. Finally decided to try a monitor that blocked blue light and had the ability to raise the refresh rate. I was hoping this would take care of how gaming started to make my head feel. Since buying and tweaking the blue light (set to strongest setting) and raising refresh rate to 180hz from the old standby of 60hz, I'm glad to say the fuzzy headed-ness and eye strain are almost, completely gone. Now that I'm 63 I noticed my gaming sessions were leaving me really fatigued and some what loopy and off balance too. Then I started reading about excessive blue light exposure and the eye strain and loopiness it can cause some people. Couple that with a 60hz refresh rate on my current monitor, plus being 63 and I was thinking my fun with Elden Ring was coming to a close. So I decided to gamble on this sweet, fairly inexpensive monitor and BAM! I'm back to slaying dragons again! When you place the monitor on the strongest anti blue light, it does mean you'll have to manually adjust the color settings yourself for the games you're gonna play. While not quite as good as having the blue light still on, it's still good enough for me to enjoy playing again. Setting up your preferences is done fairly easy from the backside of the monitor with 5 easy to reach buttons located on the right side. 2 things to note... if your video card only has a HDMI connection then you will not be able to get the 180hz refresh rate that I'm able to get. You'll be capped at 144hz. If however you have a display port connector then you're good to go for the higher rate. It does come with both hdmi and DP cables. 2ndly, the monitor tries to take over as your sound card. I have surround sound and after plugging in the monitor, I had no sound. The fix is to double click the speaker icon located on the bottom right of the monitor (for windows 10), then click the upward arrow and manually choose your sound card. This will over ride the monitors built in desire to take over your computers sound card. Once I did this, we had surround sound again. The manual doesn't say this is the fix you need. I guess they expect you to plug in your green speaker connector to the bottom of their monitor and be happy. I've got green, brown and black connectors for my sound card, so this wasn't gonna work for me and I wasn't gonna be happy to play Elden Ring without surround sound either. There was a weird burn-in discoloration halo on the first one. Very distracting, so had it replaced. The second one, the color is fine, but it has some connectivity issues with the DisplayPort, where it times out after a few minutes. The first one did not have this problem. The HDMI port works just fine though. If the DP worked well, then it'd be a 5-star product, because of the exceptional value. Its not very heavy and was able to mount to an arm for a standing desk with no difficulties. There is decent cable management, just make sure you align the covers properly after. The stand it comes with is okay, but I think an adjustable arm really makes this a better product. There's some QC consistency issues, but Amazon's return policy on this is great, so it is an easy fix, if you do get a bad unit. Read more
This screen is great. Its not to wide or too tall. I use it for work, not gaming. I have the ability to put multiple windows on one screen and still see it comfortably. The clarity is great and the whole thing is easy to assemble. There is a HDMI cable but it is the one with a slight angle on it. Read more
