I’ve been struggling with plantar fasciitis for months, and these inserts have been a game changer. From the first day, I noticed less heel pain when walking and standing. The arch support is firm without feeling uncomfortable, and the cushioning in the heel really absorbs shock. I can finally get through a full day without limping by evening. So noisy! Too loud!! I'm 300 pounds and everyone could hear me coming because these insoles are like squeaky toys inside my shoes. I thought it was just me, but I gave my other pair (I bought 2) to my son, who is 6'1" and 200 pounds, and his shoes make the same rubber-on-rubber squeaky sound with every step too. I'm continually impressed with these insoles! They fit great, are easily customized to my shoe, they offer much more support (functionality) than what comes in my sneakers, I will only walk with these in my shoes. They feel firm and comfortable in all the right places. I don't run, so can't speak to any harder activity, but I do lots of walking in them and my feet hurt much less with these insoles compared to others. Overall: I'm a big fan. I'm 220 lbs (Down 14, thanks to comfy insoles like these!) and these are the right amount of firmness for me. I definitely recommend them for anyone needing better arch support.
