Okay, so I did not, absolutely 100% did not believe this thing would work. I've been curious about them for a while and finally went ahead and got one. I'll be damned, but it actually works! So it doesn't say whether to use it wet or dry, and google also had mixed results, so I tried both. I am here to tell you that you should definitely use it try. Wet, or even on damp skin, it gets a lot more abrasive and can (will) buff your skin right off. Not great. That's what cost it a star for me, because those abrasions happened fast, and I didn't even feel them until I got out of the shower. That said, I was able to buff my legs (dry) completely hairless in like 20 minutes, no fuss, no muss. It works amazingly well, and it's certainly nicer than the razor rash that I seem to get no matter how fancy the razor I use. A (second) word of warning, these are not safe for super thin skin. I tried to do my lady parts, and it definitely did get the hair off, but it took a lot of skin with it. Underarms were too sore to even make more than a pass or too, and use caution on inner thighs and the insides of your arms. I tried it on my face too, and it's possible if you're careful, but it's easy to get too aggressive with it. I am not a fan of shaving my legs, but with summer coming, I don't have a choice. I ordered this to see if it worked, but honestly I was not expecting it to. It does! I was surprised at how easy it is to use. It doesn't pull the hair, but somehow it disappears. I don't think you get a super close "shave" as with a razor, but it's enough to be able to comfortably wear shorts. I have really dry skin and this doesn't irritate it. I don't go crazy with it and just a couple of passes seems to work for me. It does kind of leave a white "residue", but it wipes off easily. I've only used it on my legs, but it would work on other parts I'm sure. Overall, I like this. A razor is much closer shave, but this works for the time between shavings when I just want to wear shorts without too much hassle. Read more

I was skeptical, but, does it work? Absolutely. Even on full-length body hair. a couple of passes and it's all gone. But I said it's basically sandpaper. Not paper per se at all but some abrasive material. So what's the deal with this? It will make you RAW if you use it repeatedly, especially in softer skin areas like the neck. But it works. It takes way longer than shaving though and it's not as smooth. But some people finds it less abrasive on the leg than using a razor, plus it exfoliates! Just don't use it in any delicate areas or the face. It takes jsut a couple of passes on those areas to leave you raw. It's pretty compact. I got this on a whim, not expecting much out of it, but suddenly I'm a believer??? Use it dry and be patient, but my legs were butter smooth afterwards. I didn't have to pay much attention so it's fine to use while watching TV or whatever. I also made the mistake of trying it on more sensitive areas and... Yeah don't do that. I was so skeptical, but it really does work well! You rub little circles and the hair truly does come off. The positive, it works great on your calf’s. The downside, other areas of skin can be too sensitive. Examples: thighs and armpits. If you don’t have sensitive skin, it may work better in other areas for you than it did for me. I do find this hair eraser better than a different one I had purchased. This one feels smoother and less abrasive, but still gets the hair off equally well. Read more
