This is no good! I had an established 700 gallon pond that had been doing fine with the exception of a bit of algae. This bomb killed all my fish. Within a couple days. 20 4 inch goldfish, 1 6 inch koi, and 20 minnows. Plus a couple bull frogs Read more
Works great. Hard time clearing the water. This works great, little longer to work than I thought, but be patient. Read more
Dropped this into my pond on startup this year. Initially somewhat clear, but in 4 days crystal clear water and you can see down to the bottom easily. I used one ball every other month and no green water last year. To be fair, I use an external filter with UV but previous years still got green water even after changing the bulb. Highly recommend this product, hands down the best I found Read more

They work great at keeping our ranch pond balanced. However delivery method is awful. These are fragile and not shipped in a box, instead the paper bag/envelope. The pond pods box is often crushed and often leaking.,, Read more

What I have learned. CrystalClear PondShock ball works as it should if your pond is a balanced ecosystem, if you're having algae problems it's not from this ball, it's because your pond is getting too much sun and/or you don't have enough plants to take care of your pond waste material, that's simple more plants less algae, less Sun less algae if you have a small pond and you can place some kind of shade over it you will have less algae but the more plants you have will compete with the algae and algae won't be able to form because your plants will be eating the waste product that feed it. So I highly recommend this ball it works perfect in the pond and it does not harm your fish or your plants. I have this ball for my pond on Subscribe and Save. So when I need it I have it. Read more
I mean I have a big pond and probably should have used 2-3 of these but at 20$ a pop I figured with the barley, my 2 pumps, minimal chemicals and the shock ball I would’ve seen some kind of improvement but I did not. Not until I added algacide and a couple hundred gallon water change (200 gallons roughly) like I said I can’t blame the product alone. I’m gonna try it again next time and use the recommended dose then I’ll give my honest review Read more
