I had a changing color nightlight that wouldn't work with a 1 amp USB charger, so I got this pack of 4 to replace that one. This powerful supply did the trick and the light is beautiful. I got extra in this pack because I've run into this problem before and i want to be ready. It seems that about everything with a cord is shifting to USB supplies rather than 120VAC plugs. I tested all 4 supplies, using a non-calibrated electronic load. The unloaded outputs measured between 5.068 and 5.154 Volts. Only 1 of the 4 supplies, provided 12W reliably. Two failed (under voltage set at 3.8V), when switching from 11.8W to 11.9W, constant power load. One failed the test a short while after the Load was set to 12W. All 4 worked fine up to 11.8 Watts. They get warm, not hot, when loaded. I only used whole Watt load settings and 2W was the last time I observed >= 5V output. I would have given 5 stars had the supplies met specs. Edit 2/18/26: I've noted that every USB supply that I've tested, has failed to meet spec. On this model, you may see 5V and 2.4A, but never at the same time. I did additional testing of 3 of the 4 supplies. I recorded the voltage at 0A, 1A, 2A, 2.5A, and 2.6A. I also tested one of the supplies over >15 minutes and checked the surface temperature. The highest observed temperature was 121F. The power maxed out between 2.50 ad 2.56A at <11W sustained. Read more

These chargers put out the SAME power as the Chargers you get with iPhones & iPads. When both my iPhone and iPad were very discharged, these chargers put out the MAX power to quickly charge my devices. I used 3 of the 4 pack, and they NEVER got hot, only warm. Awesome value for these charging blocks. You get 4 for around $13 and they all provide adequate power. Rated at 12W so they are just under the fast charge speeds but I got these primarily to power some LED lights so they work just fine. I have used these to charge my iphone as well but didn't keep track of how long it sits on the charger. If you need a few extra usb charge blocks that provide decent charge then I would recommend these for you. Read more
