I already own about five crockpots, however, I bought this one because I was looking for a smaller crockpot (only cooking for three people) that also had the feature that it turned over to 'warm', (instead of turned off), at the end of the actual cooking cycle. I have only used it a couple times, but so far I am very pleased with this and have no issues with it. I work all day and am gone from 8 to 9 hours so I absolutely LOVE the feature where it goes over to the warm cycle. The two things that I have cooked so far have come out fantastic. Perfect size for cooking 4 or 5 sweet potatoes, halved winter squash, or making soup. I subtracted 1 star because I can't delay the start several hours or simply use my external timer like I can on my 8 quart cooker. Why is the manufacturer responsible for making sure I'm not dumb enough to delay cooking meat or dairy and making my family sick? If you don't need to delay the start, this is a 5 star product, honest. Read more
I give this a one star, not because the product is bad but because I ordered the slow cooker and got an ice cream maker. I needed this item asap due to a special diet for someone who was ill and had to wait a week to get the wrong product. Cuisinart is a great product but I was very unhappy with receiving the wrong item. Had to run to Walmart to get an off brand. Read more

Didn't need one of those large capacity units. Just cooking for two people. Simple controls allow you to set it in the morning, go to work and come home to soup that is ready to serve. Love it. Read more
After 19 months of use the gift stopped working. I bought this as a replacement and hope for a longer life. I bought it so the old ceramic pot and lid would work with this. I use it very often, the programmable time and temperature is very handy. wish it would allow x time at y temperature and then xx time at yy temperature to give more flexible cooking options (like to bring to a boil and then simmer, unattended). This slow cooker cannot slow cook anything. I've tried cooking pork roasts (with and without bone) and pork chops on low and every time they come out over-dry, overcooked, tough as leather and inedible. This last time, I tried cooking pork chops on the "warm" setting, the absolutely lowest temperature, and they are dried out and overcooked, just like everything else I've cooked. Read more
