This is a quality unit. I make a full pot in the carafe in the morning and use the K cup side later in the day for tea, coffee or hot chocolate. So convenient. Either option makes very hot beverages and the carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours. Highly recommend!! Read more

Two different units of this model had the identical problem - fill the K-Cup resevoir more than 50% and water will leak until it reaches that level. This seems to be a common failure with this model, even right out of the box. Read more

Replaced Cuisinart's old coffee center model with this new one. Overall it's a good machine. There are a few design changes, and the first I am not a fan of, there is NO on/off switch. However, it seems to have an auto shut off. (I didn't see anything in the manual about this?) I like to keep the pod area open after using so it doesn't get moldy and funky inside. The light stays on like it's waiting for the next pod, then at some point it's not on?? So I'm assuming it's auto shut off...The second change is that they added a little flip down shelf for the single serve cup. You can flip up for your travel mug and iced coffee glass if taller. With the old machine the cup was too low and coffee would spit and sputter all over the counter. A real design flaw, I had to put a cup upside down and set a cup on top to raise it, really looked stupid! I was going to send this machine back because of the on/off switch. But honestly, the flip shelf is the deal breaker. I really like this feature. Hopefully it's next incarnation they'll be a flip shelf AND have a simple on/off switch. This was a very disappointing purchase. It shuts off immediately after brewing coffee and claims the double insulated pot keeps coffee hot for 4 hours. Completely false. Coffee is barely warm in an hour. You have to microwave your coffee to get it hot. Also, the way they made the carefree makes it difficult to pour out all the coffee. Last cups you have to spend the pot nearly or remove lid. Poor design overall. Should have stuck with glass pot and warming plate to keep coffee hot. Waste of $200+ Read more
