I bought this cover up to use on a Caribbean cruise. I am 51 years old, 5’4” and 128 lbs. 34C. I usually wear a size 4 in most clothes. The small fit perfectly. It is stretchy, so there is some forgiveness in size. It is an open knit, so you can see your swimsuit through it but it is a closed knit in the stomach area, so that provides more coverage. It was perfect by the pool or at the beach for a little modesty and warmth. Since it’s such an open knit, it really doesn’t provide much sun protection. It’s very flattering, though. Cute, affordable, comfortable cover-up. It did not snag or catch on my swimsuit or beach chair and sand came off with a quick shake. I'm a medium bottom and large top and purchased the large.
