I grab the CURAD Alcohol Prep Pads every time I need a reliable, no-nonsense solution for sanitizing and cleaning skin before injections, minor cuts, or anything else that needs a clean surface — and honestly, they’re hard to beat. First, the value is amazing. You get a ton of pads in the pack, so it lasts forever. I keep them in the bathroom cabinet, my first-aid kit, and even in a drawer at work, and I still haven’t made a real dent in the supply. When you consider how often these come in handy — for cleaning a small wound, prepping skin for shots, wiping down tools — having a big stash is super cost-effective. The pads themselves are soaked just right: plenty of alcohol to feel like it’s doing the job, but not so much that it’s dripping everywhere. They’re individually packaged, which makes them great for travel or throwing in a bag without any mess. I also appreciate that these are a simple, no-frills product that just works. You don’t have to worry about weird scents or chemicals — they’re straightforward and effective. If you want a reliable, affordable way to keep clean pads on hand for first-aid needs or just general sanitation, this pack is totally worth it. Five stars all the way. Read more

I purchased these CURAD alcohol prep pads for general first aid and cleaning tasks and have been impressed. The pads are individually sealed, making them portable and sanitary, and there is no problem tossing a few into a bag for travel or everyday use. Each pad is generously saturated with 70% isopropyl alcohol, so it effectively cleans minor cuts or prepares injection sites without drying out too quickly. I also appreciate that they are slightly thicker than other alcohol wipes I've used, which makes them easier to handle and less likely to tear. With 400 pads spread across four boxes, I feel like I am getting great value and will not run out any time soon. Overall, these wipes perform well and have become a staple in my household. Read more

I recently stocked up on these CURAD Alcohol Prep Pads (400 in total, across 4 boxes), and they’ve turned out to be a really smart buy. Whether I’m topping off my first-aid kit, cleaning electronics, or prepping injection sites, these little pads get the job done—and the volume means I’m set for a long time. What I Really Like: Strong Antiseptic Strength: These are soaked with 70% isopropyl alcohol, which is just the right concentration for disinfecting skin, minor scrapes, or even small surfaces. DiviLoom +2 Desertmart +2 Two‑Ply Durability: The pads are 2‑ply, so they feel sturdy and don’t tear easily in your hand. DiviLoom Individually Wrapped: Each pad comes in its own foil-lined package, keeping them sterile and perfectly moist until you need them. Nirvana Guru Great Bulk Value: With 400 pads, I’m not worried about running out anytime soon. It’s cost-effective for personal, medical, or shared-use needs. Walmart.com Versatile Use: I don’t just use them for first aid. They’re handy for cleaning my phone, wiping down glasses, or prepping skin before applying a bandage. Carewell A Few Things to Keep in Mind: Small Pad Size: The medium pads are compact, which is great for precision, but not super great if you want to wipe a larger area. DiviLoom Strong Smell: The 70% isopropyl alcohol has a noticeable scent. Some people (especially with sensitive noses) say it’s like gasoline, so be ready for that. Reddit +1 Potential Dry‑Out: A few users note that if the packaging is damaged or stored badly, the pads can start to dry out. DiviLoom Flammability: As with any isopropyl alcohol product, these are flammable when open—so store in a safe place away from heat. Bottom Line: If you want a bulk, dependable supply of alcohol swabs, these CURAD prep pads are a solid choice. They’re not the most sexy item in your medicine cabinet, but they’re super practical, well-made, and versatile. Great for first-aid kits, daily hygiene tasks, or cleanup in a pinch. Read more

These alcohol pads are good. A little smaller than what I’m used to but they are a bit thicker and well saturated. I think it’s actually a thin felt pad. I am a nurse and these are the ones I buy for home use. Good price for good quality alcohol pads. If you need alcohol prep pads regularly these are the ones to get. Read more

Product as advertised and well priced but I would appreciate more transparency. When will they dry up? Medline (who purchased Curad) customer service was 5 stars, a human picked up right away and explained that since this is not a "cosmetic" item, per the FDA, an expiration date is not required. The boxes I purchased late 2024 have a manufactured date of 2020. The years go by quickly and it would be helpful to have a sense of when bulk supplies need to be replaced. Would obviously prefer a mfr date closer to purchase date...and would be willing to pay up for this. These are mostly for cleaning devices or cleansing injection sites, not for wounds. I wish all companies included some basic usage info on the package. Read more
