It’s pretty neat that they have sticky tabs but you still need tape. The sticky doesn’t quite reach the edge. I really don’t like the sticky tabs because of how much of the pad they take up. Makes it a lot smaller BUT! if you flip it over it’s identical without the sticky tabs and work a lot better leaving the paper in the tabs to control the bleed through. Rather you use the sticky side or not it’s quite normal for the blood to seep to the surface of the pad. Paper up and paper on protects clothes. It’s a good barrier. But yeh overall they’re great. Don’t stick to the wound, soft, comfortable, not too thick (think that’s why it seeps) but thick enough to get the job done. Quirky yes but I still recommend them. I only buy these. Can’t beat the price and pretty good quality. I only use to buy “ban-day-d” brand but they’re terribly expensive so I to grabbed these and like I said they’re a little quirky but they’re really good. A good price for stocking up so they’re always available (IYKYK) Read more

I love that there was an adhesive on both sides of these non-stick pads! After my husband had his left TKA surgery, it was my job to keep it free of infections. These gave breathing space on top/bottom of pads and helped immensely w/ keeping the zipline stitches dry and free of infection. Total success in helping w/ the healing. His nurse was so pleased and asked where we were able to find this type of pads. So thank you for making this available! Read more

A great medical item. We used it for a pressure dressing and it didn't stick to the wound. Read more

Very nice wound coverings. Not a fan of the "glossy" outer layer, but thats what makes them non stick so I'll take it. This is almost the perfect size as a quick fold can make 4 layers and with the right tape put decent pressure on your wound. I use these for mohs surgery coverage and minor abrasions as these and tape offer so much more coverage vs bandages. Read more

Ok, so i bought these pads because my toenail lifted and was near falling off. I have never had a wound that required dressing so I was unsure on how to use these. Once you open the individual packs, there is a thin layer of film on the gauze. The film MUST STAY ON the gauze. I emphasize that because I didn't know if that was extra wrapping or not (silly me). I don't per say have an open wound to where it leaks or have fluid or bleeding, but my lifted toenail can set up an infection. A bandaid was not suitable for healing, so I'm using these pads. It is used the same way, I put neosporin on then the pad (with the film on) and then some surgical tape to keep in place. The box was intact, and so far I didn't find any discoloration on the pads as mentioned by others. So for me, I recommend these pads, and they can be cut to fit. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Recently I needed a dressing that would cover an open wound that I had stitches for. They gave me a dressing at the hospital that works well. Easy to apply one handed similar to a bandaid only in guaze form. It had adhesive on it so I didn't have to struggle with tape over guaze keeping 2 sides open. When I ran out I couldn't find anything in store so came here and saw these. Figured I would try them out and they are a pretty close match to what the hospital gave me to keep my stitches dry and the antibiotic cream in place. For reference I am using it for a dog bite. The bandages are individually wrapped and sterile. They are also very breathable and when my wound oozes it keeps it all on the bandage without sticking to my skin. The best part is they are LATEX FREE so I am not itchy and taking medicine for reacting to the adhesive like I was to the hospital grade ones. The adhesive works very well I can work without the bandages falling off as well as sleep. I have been able to readjust it as well if I stuck it down wrong with the same result (i.e. I forgot to put the antibiotics cream on so had to peel back and it stuck down again just fine) Read more
