This brush works amazing. My curls have never looked this good when I brush them wet. It's very curly and looks even and nice. The brush is durable and easy to use. I suggest detangling hair first then using the brush. This goes through my thick hair with ease Read more
I love this product! It is often hard to shape a nice curl, but with this brush it separates your hair into nice even strands leaving you with a bouncy and volumes curl! It is very durable! I am very clumsy and have dropped it many times and it has not broken. It works very well! The bristles are nice to spread product through hair and detangle! It’s super easy to clean with its wide combs and open back. It’s super easy to use also, very simple Read more
I love this brush! It’s lightweight and easy to hold and gets the job done fast! I have fine hair but it’s very very thick and it’s type 2B/2C. I wanted to brush that wood to Find My wavy curls when air dried. I saw a video on sectioning your hair in small sections and taking one to 2 inch pieces and running the brush through underneath from the scalp to the ends to create volume, but also smooth the section and it worked really well. My husband said my waves have never looked better! It glides really well and it’s comfortable to use. I think it’s an excellent value for the money because there is another one that is more expensive in this seems to be getting the job done really well! Read more
I like it. My hair is thinner and frizzy/ curly. With this brush and “some product” I am able to coax out individual tight ringlets, and curl definition. Used on my wet hair a few times & it works. Also helped with grizzlies. Again, use with your favorite curl defining product and brush it thru- in small sections. Practice makes results possible. Read more
I have lazy curls but this brush definitely brings my curls OUT! I love its design for it. Depending how you use it (head upside down, brushing down), gives your hair a lot of volume! If I haven’t brushed my hair in a couple of days, it does hurt a little and struggles a bit to get through, but that’s not the brush’s fault because otherwise it glides easily. It’s also easy to clean if needed. I pick out my hair daily from it because I drop a lot of hair but it’s also easy to clean by soaking the brush overnight. Read more
I’ve tried every brush under the sun, but the Candybrush is on another level. The way it creates tension and clumps my curls is pure magic! I used to spend 45 minutes finger-coiling, but this brush gives me even better results in a fraction of the time. My curls come out bouncy, defined, and most importantly frizz-free. If you have 3A-4C hair and struggle with definition, you NEED this brush in your routine! Read more
I'm not sure if I misunderstood the description of this brush. The information says this brush is for curly hair. What I didn't read, is if this brush is for people who already have curly hair, or for people who want curly hair. This brush is definitely not for people who already have naturally curly hair. It has half size nylon bristles, which gives hair more body. More body for someone with curly hair from just a brush means "extra frizzy". Like 5 inches from my head of frizz instead of the usual 4 inches. I have very long thick, curly white people hair. I cannot brush my hair when its dry. I was hoping this brush would help me to be able to do that. When I brush my dry hair, the result is 4 inches of frizz. I bathe at night; so I had hopes for this brush. I rationalized that maybe this brush would allow me to brush it dry, and let it go because it has the strand separators, possibly taming the frizz. But the bristles make it even worse. I didn't rate it 3 stars due to the frizz, because no brush can eliminate frizz, that I know of. I gave it 3 stars because the design implies that its meant to move, which helps get tangles out easier without pain and without taking chunks of hair out; the way the back of it is vented in a square shape. The brush is made of hard plastic, so it doesn't move as I'm brushing my hair. It does pull my hair out, and it's not painfree. Curly hair gets tangled up. To be fair, I used this brush fresh out of the shower, to see how it works on wet curly hair. If you have curly hair, then you already know you don't need those strand seperators straight out of the shower. Normally, I only use a leave in conditioner, brush it, and let it do its thing. My hair seperates on it's own, and the curls coil up all the way down on their own. Out of curiosity though I used this feature. The result was thicker strands that still curled up, but were a bit frizzy when my hair dried. Normally my hair isn't frizzy when it dries. It's only frizzy when I brush it when its already dry, which I only do right before I get in the shower. My own experience with this brush has led my to believe that this isn't made for people who already have curly hair, because it isn't good. But for people who don't have naturally curly hair, and wants to create waves and curles, or if you want more body. That's who this brush is for. I think the advertising, and information should specifically say that. That's the main reason I only gave it 3 stars. The brush is hard, not for tender heads, The point at the bottom isn't very child friendly. The end of the brush is a straight point. I don't get why? To help get tangles out? If you have white, or black people curly hair, this brush probably won't be so great for your hair type. Maybe go check out the Ningbella. If you want more body, your gonna like this brush, especially if you don't have to worry about frizz. Read more
