My CLC 1523 Ziptop Utility Pouch holds a lot of tools. As you can see, not all the front tool storage is used either. This is what I bring with me to work to get things done. The photo with out the pouch shows what my pocket EDC is at work. So the pouch carries more of the off tool needs, I can go a whole day not needing the tools in my pouch, but I like them with me if needed. As you can see I usually am tightening things up at work. A lot of box opening, and writing/logging things every day at work. Some times I work on sinks, other times carpet tiles, not too often on wood work hence the Hitachi DB3DL2 Power Cordless Screwdriver. Yup, it can do some light duty drill & drive work. Over the past few years I selected each tool for my particular work needs, from awl, to the universal adjustable wrench, single socket wrench, to every thing. I don't think I could do any better yet, except for a Craftsman 8" Pocket Socket maybe for in place of the universal adjustable wrench. Some times I think the universal adjustable wrench head on either end is to bulky, but it usually gets most of the jobs done. I have considered a DeWalt 8V max first at 430 RPM, my Hitachi DB3DL2 gets 630 RPM. Hitachi changed to Metabo. The Metabo DB3DL2, same model number gets 700 RPM, and the same 44 inch pound of torque, maybe in the far future when funds permits. I have no idea of torque on the DeWalt 8v max, I image more with the lower RPM's but higher voltage. The old Hitachi DB3DL2 has proven enough for me at work, besides I found a 3 Ah battery/charger on eBay, so . . . I rambled, all this in my CLC Utility Pouch, I love it. Read more

I have used this pouch for over 5 years in a factory ( at least 40 hours a week ). all the pouches and zipper work fine. a little wear on the bottle cover but the inner liner is solid. I will buy another one as soon as this one wears out, but i bet it will be years before than. Read more

I added this pouch onto a toolbelt, and it's so perfect for any landscaper. I can fit a horihori knife, pair of pruners, small folding saw, and a pair of fiskar scissors in it. There is a tiny loop that is right above the tape measure in the picture that ripped on one side when I kept taking my knife out of it, but that was likely more my fault than the product's. Super handy item do recommend. I got the medium size. Read more

If you need a small pouch for everyday use with smallish tools, this is worth considering. I’ve had both this one and it’s big brother, and while I like them both, this one is my daily driver working on set in film/tv production. Sure some days I need more kit, and some days I need nothing, but after almost 30 years of this absurd career I know that I can usually do just fine with the minimalist kit I carry in this little guy. The belt clip is key for easy on/off. The outside pocket is perfect for a Klein stubby 4-in-1. Etc. You don’t need a 12” crescent wrench all the time, people. Lighten up. I got several years of hard use out of my last one, and finally had to replace it recently. Great value! Read more

It works perfectly for my purposes. The item i most wanted to be able to carry on my person is the autel al319 scanner. It fits snuggly inside the pocket. It goes comfortably on my belt. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a mesh pocket inside to hold small sockets. That's one of the features I loved on the CLC Custom Leathercraft 1504, though that pouch ripped from not being big enough to properly hold the scanner. So yeah this is definitely an upgrade. Amazing tool pouch. This is my second one! The fist one I’ve had for over ten years and it’s still going strong. Has a belt clip or the option to loop it on a belt. Great for residential or commercial glazers Read more

Since I'm female, I often find myself with pockets that are too small to carry tools in, so I was looking for something that could serve as a detachable pocket for whatever hand tools I might need for a specific task until I got enough uniform-friendly deep-pocketed pants. This pouch is a little too bulky to fit comfortably on my belt (I'm a 5'3" female, I imagine someone bigger would find it perfect). Less specific to my situation, the design is such that only one or two long tools can fit in the pouch and have the top still close. With just my 8" pliers in the pouch, the top doesn't like to close - they're just slightly too long. So that makes the top flap useless. The way the opening is cut, tools can fall out fairly easily if you are doing a lot of bending and reaching... which I generally wind up doing since, as the shortest person at my work, I'm generally the one who winds up working in short, tight spaces (like under staircases). Wasn't the solution I was looking for. Too bulky on the outside, and too small/specifically configured on the inside. Still a pretty cool pouch, though. Read more

I absolutely love this! I've got a wide array of small tools I need to carry with me at work and this holds them all with room to spare. It securely holds all of my tools and I haven't had any issues with it. I love the snap on the top so if I am reaching in and out while working I don't have to fight the flap on the top. My only two complaints are that 1) all of the loops on the side are too wide to hold my mag lite so I have to store it inside the pouch (there is a little loop on the inside of the pouch thats great for that) and 2) I keep sharpies in the little pen shaped pockets on the front but they stick out far enough to obstruct the zipper and I have to hook my hand around them to unzip it. That being said I have been through many belt mounted pouches across a wide spectrum of price and this one has held up flawlessly where more expensive pouches would have fallen apart and risked losing my tools! I always get asked where I got it because people see how great it is, they don't believe me when I say how much it was! Read more
