For that, I'm bumping from 1-star to a 3-star (with no obligation to do so) Honestly this would have been a 5-star review if it hadn't broken after 2 weeks and 5 uses. Water will not pump anymore. New batteries, sufficient water, but still nothing. Not even a hum like it's trying. It has otherwise been a great toy. My 2 and 4 year old kids have loved it and found it very entertaining. My daughter loved playing in this sink. I loved that the water was recycled instead of our faucet being turned on for a long period of time. Unfortunately, the motor stopped working after about a month of use. The seller was wondering at replying in a timely manor and sent us a new motor! We still managed to break the second one. I suspect we didn’t maintain the minimum water level, because my daughter would spill a lot while playing. The plastic food pieces are thin plastic, so they are easy to break when an adult steps on them. My 6 1/2 year old granddaughter LOVES this real working sink! She has been wanting one for a while. It takes AA batteries so be sure to have some on hand. But this works marvelously! This encourages independent play and it allows her to enjoy the sensory experience as well. It is a sturdy sink and not a flimsy product. It is easy to put together! High quality pump and parts. Stopped pumping after 2 months. I reached out to the seller and they responded quickly with helpful advice. I opened up the pump and found it clogged with algae and hair. Once cleaned out, it's working great again. My advice is dump the water regularly and let it dry out. Clean the tub every so often. With 3 granddaughters, I might also consider a nylon filter around the intake held on by a rubber band to keep the hair out. Read more
