CUZEC 12V Cigarette Lighter Power Adapter

My portable air compressor blew its fuse and the cigarette lighter plug broke so I replaced it with one I had from other broken items not in use anymore. These, however, were not heavy-duty wire, however. All those did was heat up and blow the car fuses when used in a car cig. lighter socket. After researching the matter, I found this item. It's higher rating (16 gauge wire and 15 amp fuse) should stop all the blown car fuse issues, I suspect. I attached my wires to the item, clamped down with pliers, plugged it in to the cig. lighter socket, pressed power on and it fired right up. I just got it, but I like it so far. Read more

My portable air compressor cig lighter adapter felt apart on my hands (probably after so many uses and years of abuse) so I needed a replacement. I was surprised when I received this one and came with extra lead metal ends, plastic shrouds and 2 extra fuses. I cut out the broken cig adapter from my compressor and soldered the extra metal leads to the bare cable. Ended up using black heat shrink wrap instead of the clear protectors it comes with. The new cig lighter adapter feels heavier and alot better quality than the old one, plus it has a status led on it. This is an excellent product and great price. I found this product to be very high quality and it works perfectly. I use a air-pump and fatsac pump on my Malibu Wakesetter boat all summer long. Both pumps came with cheap connectors that ultimately failed. I replaced the cheap connectors with these high-quality connectors and found that they work perfectly. Highly recommend this product. I used it to charge my Dash Cam batteries by splicing it into the battery's harness, allowing me to use a 5a charger in the garage. No problems as I can see. It provided a full charge. I like the fact that they included plastic shrink wrap for each leg, and I will probably solder, and shrink the tubes now that I know that it works well. Read more

Had to replace the cigarette adapter which broke (make of cheap plastic). Ordered this item which appears of better quality construction and durability than what I replaced. It also had the benefit of an LED power indicator. So far so good. Read more
