Exactly what I was looking for. Well-made and just the right height. I initially purchased them for trail biking, to help with foot/ankle pain as well as keep rocks and dirt out of my socks. They compress well and cover all of the ankle but not the shin - some socks are just too high. The compression is still there after a few washes. I used to wear low cut compression socks on and off the trail but have found myself wearing these to work (on my feet about 80% of the day) and afterwards, my feet do hurt less. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Wanted a true sock for comfort and quality that can be used for trainers and short term boot uses if nessecary, and it had some key features that i wanted such as left and right shaped socks, extra heel support, and dependable materials. The quality is spot on and the comfort is actually shocking. It's very soft walking on similar to a foam mattress and I have bad heel pains from wearing boots alot, but this is suppressing the feeling where I dont even notice pain, thank you. Good fit and quality. Footbed area is good and thick if you like that, but I found that it retained moisture. Good attempt at focusing compression in the arch and heel area, but I found even the light compression in the toe and adjoining metatarsal area a bit uncomfortable. The crew height and the thinner fabric in the shin/tube area were fine, but the reduced compression in that area meant that the socks didn't stay up too well. Could be due to my body shape, 5'10" 150lbs, size 12 foot (ordered size L/XL). Although I've been happy with many brands of full-calf-height compression socks, I'm still looking for shorter athletic ones for hot Texas summers. Read more
Very nicely made, good material, super high quality feel. 10x better than what you will get from Hanes, fruit of the loom, etc. at your local big box store. I wear size 10 male in NB’s and most sneakers and I went with size M. They fit perfectly snug and I always size down on socks if multiple sizes are offered because I like the heel to fit right at the designated seam. I like that the top part of the sock has a clean look, almost like a thick dress sock, but the bottom part where your foot goes is thicker and more cushioned. I will update this review if needed because the only possible downside would be durability, and I just received these socks so I can’t comment on that. Otherwise, I would say this company has done a great job and the price at 4 pairs for ~$20 is perfect, but the price needs to stay affordable or I will look to other brands. Read more
