I got this so my son could train indoors. Originally I bought a true regulation rim, I was gonna mount to my interior wall but they are SUUPER heavy. Then I bought a 12.5” rim and backboard but it was too floppy it bent every time he shot and was a little too toy like. But this one right here is Just right. It’s slightly smaller than regulation size which is actually good for shot training and it’s way less heavy than a real regulation steel rim. This here is PERFECT! Such a disappointment! Imagine your kids waiting a week to receive this only to find it's total garbage. Hooks over door don't allow closing the door without destroying your door and trim. The rim fasteners stick out the back and will destroy your door or wall (covered in tape for initial fit check - see photo). There is no designed wall mount solution - choose your own adventure here. The molded backboard structure is not flat but bowed from the manufacturing process. I could go on! In a world full of capable designers and engineers, shameful this made it to market, and at this price! I meant to take more pictures but just wanted to get it back in the box and out of my sight. When this hoop came, I was surprised and how large the backboard was. We almost sent it back because the backboard takes up the full width of the door. We actually thought it wast meant for a door after seeing the size. My teen decided to try it anyway and I’ve been blown away at the durability. I have four boys who are HARD on hoops. This is out 6th hoop and has lasted longer than all of the others and shows no signs of wear even after dunking and hard wear. I highly recommend! Read more
The media could not be loaded. I gave this 4 stars only because we've already had to remount it in the stud(due to dunking), after having up for 2 days. They absolutely cannot hang or dunk even while being mounted in the studs. The bolts came out and frame bent. We were able to bend it back for the most part and remount. Read more

The description clearly said this product could be mounted to the wall, but it includes no bracket and no instructions to do so and after waiting weeks for a response from the company and getting none, it is past the return window. I have hunted down specialty screws to fit the holes in the back only to find it still won't mount securely to a wall. very disappointed. It seemed durable and well main, but customer service and inaccurate description earns 1 star. Read more
