This smart plug was easy to set up using my iPhone and connecting it to WiFi. It connected quickly to Wi-Fi using the app (which the instruction booklet includes a QR code for so you can easily scan and download it from the App Store) It works smoothly with smart home routines and responds well. It also has matter capability which is awesome though so far I’ve only set it up using its app. The plug feels sturdy and reliable once installed. It looks nice and clean and doesn’t add bulk or anything and when plugged into the socket it still allows ample room for the outlet above and below to still be used as well, which some bulkier smart plugs tend to block. A simple and effective smart plug for everyday use. Comparable to the Amazon Smart Plugs as well as the Tapo Smart Plugs. Though so far I find it doesn’t have an app specific widget option on the iPhone like the Tapo one does, but I don’t mind. The app interface is also super user friendly and looks nice. This WiFi smart plug was easy to set up and connect to my home network. However it does use a proprietary app so that means downloading yet another app to control a device. It does work with Alexa so that is a plus. The plug is a bit larger than some others on the market and it does seem pricey at $23 for one plug. I’ve purchased a 3 pack of similar for less that that. Very easy to setup with app download and QR code . Connecting to Alexa was a straightforward process after installing the plug . Very simple and a high quality plug , on par with other smart plugs I have from other brands. The QR code on plug for linking and installation is very helpful , as is the indicator light.
