I recently purchased the 8-Pack Replacement Mount Metal Plates by D.Sking for fabricating a mount for my cell phone in my car, and I am thoroughly impressed with their versatility and quality. Pros: Easy to Work With: These metal plates were incredibly easy to drill holes into, which made it simple to screw and mount them to my existing setup. The material is sturdy yet workable, ideal for custom modifications. High Quality: The plates are made from durable iron, ensuring that they can handle the weight of a phone and remain securely in place. Versatile: Although I initially only needed one plate, having extras has proven to be very useful. I’ve already found additional projects around the house where these plates come in handy. Cost-Effective: The pack includes eight plates, which is more than enough for my current needs and future projects. This offers great value for money. Cons: Quantity: The only minor downside is that the pack includes more plates than I initially needed. However, given their utility, I’m sure they will be put to good use over time. I bought this product because my new phone didn’t have a magnetic plate for a magnetic dash mount I had purchased previously. First there are so many plates that come in one order and second the magnet is so strong with my mount. I am very happy and recommend this product wholeheartedly. Read more

Definitely worth the money. The plates are nice and thin. They give you a good amount of plates for just a few dollars. The only thing I didn't like was the cheap plastic protectors that came with to cover the metal plate. Didn't really seem like they stuck too well or we're cut out The same size as the plates. The adhesive seems to be pretty good. Haven't had no problems yet. I would still recommend this product. Read more

really nice and thin magnets that sticks well to my magnetic phone holder. The adhesive on the magnet is strong and holds tight but if you use the sticker they include then they're easy to remove which gives you some nice options. Read more

Though the idea is good the adhesion is terrible. I tried these in my car on the dashboard but they wouldn’t stick at all. So I went inside to my flat desk which is completely smooth. I could pull it of with very little effort and 1 finger. I do not recommend. Read more
