It is a hat. The stitching on the hat and leather is nicely done and didn't have any loose threads. the adjustable back came already sized perfectly for my head (coincidence), but the holes and buttons have a nice tight feel and are not loose. Don't have to worry too much about it coming undone. So why 4 stars and not 5? The plastic meshing in the back just feels a little off to me. It feels cheaper than other trucker hats I have. The non mesh part is very comfortable on my forehand, but the mesh part just felt different. you don't feel it on your head that much which is nice, but touching it with my hands made me wonder if it will hold up as long.
