As a tiffany lamp collector for several yrs I can only say this. "Dale Tiffany Co. has lost thier minds". The lamps made today will never be anything but a knock-off of past Louis Comfort Tiffany lamps. Get it "They are knock-offs""Always will be". Why in the world would they think todays lamps would ever be worth thousands of dollars like the originals? They never will be! Anyone that pays these prices for knock-off lamps lose every grand they spend on it. Dale lamps are very high quality we all know that, but it is what it is...A knock off lamp that is being mass produced! Its not even rare! Every tiffany lamp seller has this lamp for sale. I have been a collector of Tiffany lamps for over 30 years and have accumulated over 20 reproduction lamps. The 0007/273E is one of their signature pieces and it's breath taking! I read the review from Told-You-So below and yes, this is not the original Louis Comfort Tiffany lamp. If it was, it would cost over $500,000. But it’s also NOT a knock-off. Before I purchased this item, I have seen it at various antique and heirloom shows and I can tell you that it is solid hand cast bronze base along with hand laid mosaic pieces of exquisite art glass and jewels. The quality is exceptional! I purchased this item some time ago before it came off the market since I knew it was a limited edition reproduction piece that would be discontinued due to the time it took to make it.
