Floor Damage from Vibram Tread
These are excellent boots and fit well but they damaged my oak floor over the short hours I walked around in them to see if the fit was good. I called Danner about it, since the marks left on the floor were so severe, and I'm unable to get them removed. Danner said you can't wear these inside, the Vibram tread is sandpapery for grip. I wish I'd known that before walking around in them. I'm not sure how I'm going to fix the floor now. Beware! I sent them back and got the regular Mountain 600's - a different tread and they're fine.
